  • Pro / Con: Surrender vs Tryst

Am planning on hitting up both fairly soon, but would like to get an idea of the pros / cons of each on a Saturday night. Assume both have big-name dj and we are looking to get bottle service.

I love Tryst - that is, until the last time I was there a few months back. They set us up (Group of 4) with a favorable location and a 1 Bottle Min at a small table with no divider, but then about 30 minutes later, the table next to us (same size) was filled with a 15 person party. Obviously their group was overflowing into our space, and pretty much making it impossible to enjoy ourselves. That experience itself was enough to make me write off Tryst completely from any future planning (the only other Club I've sworn off of is The Bank).

Surrender - seriously an awesome time, and there's just sooo much room to roam. Tables are nice and spread out, even when there is a Notable DJ playing. Plus, having the option to pop over to their Gaming area and play a few hands of Blackjack to help pay for the bill helps a ton as well.

Verdict: I'd recommend Surrender 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.

I was just at tryst saturday, still love it.

IMO anytime you get 1btl and no divider, it's common to have a large group next to you that spills over. in fact, last time i was at xs, i had 1btl ( #440 i think). The next table over had 4 guys and then like 8 more showed up after they got through GA. Wasn't a big issue though, they killed their bottle in 10 min and then 15 min later got the "buy 2 more bottles or leave" speech. problem solved =)

surrender is still on my list of places to check out. I don't feel like you could go wrong with either.

Good to hear it's worked itself out in the past, but still anything like that is just gonna get me steamed to the point of writing it off for any future trips.

I do enough gambling in Vegas as it is - - I don't want to gamble on whether or not my party is going to enjoy themselves at a certain club. There's too many other places of high quality that I KNOW will deliver (Like Surrender), so no sense for me to try a place that has burned me in the past.

makes sense.. you're spending too much money at a table to have a bad time. I guess it just doesn't bother me much - though if it did, i'd probably feel the same way.

I give surrenders a plus one over Tryst.. The Outside and Cabannas give an increased level for partying... But, Tryst is still good as a first option too. It all depends on your group, appearances and how you're feeling... Choosing between the two is like choosing between BMW or Benz...

Went ahead and set up a table @ Surrender (thanks Mikey!). Sounds like it's hard to not have a good time there. May end up checking Tryst out on Thursday night instead!
