Mayweather vs. Pacquiao?

I know the talks for this fight are starting to heat up. It will be crazy if it happens. What I really want to know is what is Vegas like during a fight weekend? What are the clubs like during a fight weekend? I'm trying to go to Vegas this May 5th for Cinco de Mayo weekend and possibly this mega fight. Just trying to find out what it may be like?

We're there that weekend regardless since we have a race at the Las Vegas Motorspeedway. So we booked rooms already.
Have been researching that weekend the past couple weeks and its already up there in prices.
Possibly because of Cinco DeMayo weekend, and in addition of the anticipation of the fight. It can be Mayweather vs some mexican dude or Pacquiao. Regardless its gonna be a big weekend. If scaredy Floyd fights a mexican fighter, that would be a draw with the Cinco de Mayo weekend. And if there is a megafight, well thats a big thing in itself already.

The way I see it is, there's tons of people that go to Vegas for the clubs on any given weekend. Especially if there is a well known DJ at certain places. Living in SoCal, you always know a couple groups of people that are going to Vegas any given weekend to go clubbing so theres always that crowd filling up the clubs regardless if its a holiday or special weekend.

honestly, the fight will bring in more people but its no different than lets say a big rodeo on town, conventions, concerts, etc.

It's kinda funny that the Group wants to go to Vegas, but doesn't want to go *THAT* weekend because of the crowd that a big Boxing Match attracts.

The crowd it attracts is the same crowd that is in Vegas on any given weekend of the year - except you might have a few more high rollers, and the sportsbooks will be packed.

Not if it is Mayweather-Pac. Mayweather-anyone else, we wouldn't be concerned. Mayweather-Pac would without a doubt impact the Vegas scene. Biggest fight is 15 years. It would be more like the NBA All Star game. Of course the odds of Mayweather-Pac happening are slim to none, but we didn't want to risk it.

I have one Golden Rule when it comes to Vegas. If I see Pacman Jones walk into the club, I leave. Immediately.

Arum already said the earliest Pac can fight is the first week of June so he has enough time to heal from his cut and train. plus he wants the fight to be on the vegas strip to accomadate more ticket buyers, which will take some time. so unless the judge gives money may another extension this fight aint happening.
