clubbing with a large group of girls

Hi there,

I have been checking out this forum, and it is amazing, lots of great information, so maybe you guys can help me out.

I am going to be in Vegas the weekend of the 20/21st with a huge group of girls for a bachelorette party and I want to take them to a club on one of those nights.

There are 12-13 of us total. We are in our mid 20's - mid 30's, but BIG partiers.

Now, I am a big club goer in LA/Hollywood, and i listen to a lot of EDM. I don’t know most of these girls, but I am assuming that they don’t listen to EDM. I would like to take them somewhere that has some good house playing since everyone can kinda get into that, and I can enjoy myself as well (no trance or progressive though please.)

I am not really finding any events/DJ's going on that really suit this (it’s all trance pretty much) so can you guys recommend something for me? Would the Palms be the best solution since you can go from club to club?

Also, with so many girls, I think a couple of tables would be the best solution, at least as far as cash goes. I will be the one taking care of everything, so i want to be able to pay up-front and not get stuck with a huge bill at the end of the night. Also, i want to drink and enjoy myself too!

Any recommendations would be awesome!

Rain is the only Palms club that has some house nights.

I don't know if any of these guys fit your bill or not, as I'm not an EDM expert, but XS has AN21 and Max Vangeli playing on 20th and Sebastian Ingrosso on the 21st. Marquee has Markus Shulz on the 20th and Above and Beyond on the 21st.

Thanks Universal, but those are trance/progressive guys, and I just cant handle that kind of music. I am looking more into house. I actually am down to see Skrillex at Surrender, but he would probably scare the other girls in the group. his hair alone scares lot of people.

Gotcha. Chromeo is at Haze on the 20th. Any better?

Luckily we are renting a house so maybe we can just pre-party enough so i wont care what the music is like

1 OAK may be a good compromise. Their DJ's are primarily open format. Could be good for the whole group.

Your chances with 13 ladies is very good, but the best thing to do is get a list of the hosts on this site and text them ahead of time and almost guaranteed that the second you roll up they'll let you all in (except maybe at a place like Marquee... maybe XS too).

Its going to be tough finding specific house DJs and types of music, like you said, if you have a house and can listen to the music you really want to while pre-gaming that's best, and then try not to stress about the music you hear after that.

the XS djs playing that weekend most definitely are not trance or progressive. they are house and definitely on the commercial side. If you like the Swedish House Mafia's stuff, that's what you'll be getting (as that's who they are or with Anton, related to).

i think it really matters what club/night you are going to and hate to say it but the probably how 'hot' the girls are is also going to factor in how quickly you get in.

did you know where you wanted to go and on what nights? that might help us give you a better idea...
