Studio 54 Closing?!?

I just saw that 54's last night will be January 18th. This should've happened years ago! The place has been dead for at least 5-6 years. Any word on what will be taking its place and when?

Wynn is building a new club called Climaxx to go in the space Blush occupied.

Not sure of MGM's plans for the Studio 54 spot.

That is what I heard, some 4 story club. I guess im one of the few, I liked Studio54. I mean I wouldnt stay there all night but on an early night get there 10ish and then find a real club about 1ish.

Is this confirmed? Best info I could find said January 8th, but it wasnt what I would call a reputable report. I know the place has seen better days, but this was my first go to club in LV. Was way too easy to have a good time while staying in MGM, hitting up Studio 54 at any time of night.

Have a lot of good memories of this place. Sad to see it go, hope the change is a good one.

their facebook page has this for Jan 31st, so looks like it will be open until at least the end of the month..

It looks like it was the first LV club for alot of us, it was mine as well. Getting all wasted, friends rolling, etc. But yea, 54's time has come and gone a while ago!! Can't wait to see the new club they have planned, especially since I usually always stay at the MGM.

It was my first Vegas club too. I think around 2001-02. Lol, I wasn't even 21 at the time.
