Groupon Offer?

This is my first post here, found this site through someone's recommendation over on Trip Advisor. Anyways, woke up to a new Groupon this morning and was wondering if it's a good deal. http://www.groupon.com/las-vegas/
I've been to Vegas before with my husband a couple times, but this will be a girls only trip with my younger sister so we were thinking of hitting a club or two. I know absolutely nothing about the club scene anymore after moving somewhere more rural and having 3 kids. We will be in town mid-March, approximately the 17-21st if everything works out right. Absolutely not... LAX is soooo not cool. Spend your time at better places i.e. 1Oak, XS, Surrender, Marquee, and maybe Hyde. Hit up a host if you are a group of girls and just want to get in they should put you on a list. At the most it spots you may pay cover if your not smoking hot but its going to be less than that tour and you can buy a bottle for 450 so if your going to be spending near that just get a table.

take Busy's advice, and try those spots listed. LAX used to be a top spot, but now its yesterday's news and due for a renovation. You can compare it to Something you can probably get at home. If you're going to Vegas, do a little extra. You may lose your house or husband (jk ), but in the end it was worth it.

Thanks for all the tips! We are thinking about staying at Caesar's right now, so we can enjoy the spa pools during the day...how is Pure? We are not looking to get a table or bottle service anywhere, just some place with some good music to dance to (with a decent sized dance floor) and a couple of drinks, although getting in for free or not having to wait in line would be nice. Also, this may seem like an odd request....but do any of these clubs have a latin night or have some real dancing? I used to go ballroom dancing about 8 years ago and would love to be able to find that kind of atmosphere on the strip.

None of the top clubs/bars cater to this genre. YouTube PURE, XS, etc and you should find a few video clips of what a night at one of these places looks like.

Hah I can do a bit of ballroom, though admittedly it isn't good compared to the people that actually do do it. But I know more than like 90+% of the people there and when I lead a girl on the dance floor, space clears out because I have her spinning and twisting every which way. And truth be told, I have won many a dance-off's because I opted to grab a random girl and make her the center of attention.

There are guys that do know how to do it, but they are probably few and far between. Your best bet is to just be a strong female and lead the guy through the stuff. Even if he can't get a simple 4 count beat, it's very easy for you to make him think he is twirling you.

ya it seems like youre preference isnt the electronic dance music type scene. Thats what Marquee, XS are mostly going to be.

I dont think its exactly ball room dancing type music, but Crown @ Rio on Wed nights is latin night. LOL. That maybe more of just latin crowd hehe.

If you're at Caesars, just check out Pure. It seems like you're not really that specific and picky anyways of what the club you want. Pure will be a mix of music and crowd. And its in your hotel so it would be very convenient.

You should be able to get B1G1 at LAX too. We went to LAX last May and it wasnt bad, certainly not XS or Marquee, but not bad.

That's good to know, thanks! I was ruling tables out because with only 4 girls and what the minimums were I didn't think it would be worth it. I will have to keep this in mind.
