Marquee for bachelor party

Would Marquee be a good spot for a bachelor party of 12-15 guys? This will be the Saturday of mAyOD weekend. Coincedence? I think not.

Do they still play hip hop in one of the rooms? What type of music is in the main room? Planning on getting a table and trying to decide which room I should go for. And I'm assuming bottles go around the $500 range, but if anybody has a list that would be awesome. Thanks for any info!

That's going to be a whole lot of dudes, and you are probably going to need to split up to get in, unless you buy a couple of bottles.

They do have a hip hop room, which should be easier to get bottle service (most people rather be in the main room). The main room varies, but I think (from the times I've gone) it's mostly house/trance.

looking at 5 to 7 bottle if they take the reservation, thats just speculation based off previous bookings

Seems like we're going to kind of break apart and some people are going to wait in line and pay cover and some are going to do bottles.

I figured 3 people to a bottle, that's been my experience. Even for 15 people 7 seems high. Think there would there be a problem with having the guys that don't get in on the bottles come hang at the table?

We did a table for the Marcus Shultz night at Marquee on Nov 5th and it ended up about $3000 for 5 bottles with tip, tax and couple other random drinks I think. We had 12 guys and pulled in 5 other girls in the booth. But most were'nt in the area all at the same time so it didnt seem so packed.

I'd check out Cathouse too for this time frame since there's already something going on at that time at that club from what I read. I've never been to Cathouse but damn, the pics look like I"m missing out. Theres a bunch of women in there. haha.

Marquee is just a year old so the spot is hot, but you get what you pay for. When you're asking for a table & you say your group is 15 guys you're basically grabbing your ankles when they give your minimum.

RichardReborn is right, may help to reserve a table for 10 then have the remainder find a lady to walkin with. Coed groups don't wait near as long as sausage parties.

We'll probably check out Cathouse at some point (probably Thursday), but the bachelor wants to hit one of the bigger clubs on Saturday.

Splitting up sounds like the best plan unless we somehow get a killer deal from a host. I'll look into that when we get a little closer. Just hoping that I line up a deal that doesn't get changed on arrival. I've heard horror stories.
