Contacting Hosts -B/S this Friday (12/16)

My trip to Vegas is almost here and still need to set up bottle service for Friday. I've been reaching out to some of the hosts listed on this website and through some of the other threads, but the response has been marginally successful.

I make sure to mention JC in my texts, but I'm wondering if that may be more of a hinderance than a helping hand. I've read some of the threads where the hosts get a lot of requests for bottle service but the ppl end up flaking out. This website has been a great resource, but some may end up abusing the info and bruising the integrity of the site.

With that said, what other methods should I use to contact the hosts or what's a more effective way to let them know I'm serious about setting up a table? Thanks

If your serious about a table, call a host. If they don't help you then get another host. Its slow season and every host needs business. Crazy deals are available every where, if a host doesn't offer one, they aren't your guy and you should move on

Sometimes it would also help when contacting a host to let them know what your group is (ratio), date coming, and what you are looking to spend and get right away during the 1st text message sent. That way the host knows what you are looking for and will respond to you shortly, with a solid quote and there won't any back and forth messages sent that will be wasting time.

Also, if a host hasn't gotten back to you, and you sent them a txt over the weekend...give them a day or 2. It's Monday and industry hours are different from your typical 9-5 days. Hosts can work 12hr days on any day of the week, so they need some time off. If a host hasn't gotten back to you within 24hrs, then move on to another one. Also, deal with Lead, SR, Manager level hosts, they will offer you the best deals possible.......there is a reason they have those positions.

Couple other things:

#1 - Make sure you're working with someone who works directly with a venue. Then it's simply a matter of capacity and price point, but it's the dead season in Vegas so folks should be hitting you right back.

#2 - Did you just start contacting them today? If so, just give it 24 hours. You have plenty of time to get hooked up by the end of the week.

Couple other things:

#2 - Did you just start contacting them today? If so, just give it 24 hours. You have plenty of time to get hooked up by the end of the week.

Hosts should not take longer than 1 hour to respond to a possible guest. Darryl is right, December is slow season so if you don't ask a deal, you won't get.
