I had a couple questions about this event that maybe some people could clear up at least some of them for me?

    1. I am flying from Calgary Alberta Canada to Vegas for nye and it is my first time here, me and my gf bought tix for this party. What I was wondering is it states that there is a strict dress code and I was thinking I would wear a suit, I have a nice black suit I wanted to wear. Would something like that be ok???

    2. I always hear horror stories about girls who might not be up to "vegas code" that are not able to get in the club and i was wondering if theres any truth to that? Will me and my gf have no problem getting in the club?

    3. If not, do they give refunds for NYE Tix? cause that would be kind of shady if they didnt? me fly all the way down there, not being able to get in, and be $%&#ed out of $250

Im obviously a total newb when it comes to Vegas, is there any tips you guys can give me? to make it a memorable nye for me and my gf both.

Guys can get away with jeans a button down and black dress shoes.
Girls can pretty much wear anything i think the only exceptions would be sweatpants or flip flops lol.
Check out this gallery (http://spyonvegas.com/galleries/xs-t...ll-marathon-2/) from XS and you can see what people wear to clubs

Get there early, ticket or not for that night they have the right to keep you outside once it goes to capacity. For that one I would probably be in line well before doors, but will defer to others on when you might want to show up to have it run smoothly.

It's NYE and a suit is never a bad call if you want to play it safe, but probably not needed. However if you want to do it, you won't be out of place, I am sure others will be in suits as well.

Discretion is always up to the door when it comes to entering the club , regardless if you have pre-sale ticket or not, and you wont get refund. But for NYE pre-sale ticket definitely way to go if you are not doing the bottle service to ensure your entry.

Far as your dress code goes to you don't have to go all suited up, it will be up to you but it is not required. Nice , fitted dark jeans, brown or black dress shoes, nice button up will do, I would suggest nice skinny tie or blazer to look different from all the other button up shirt/jeans clan.

For your girl she is definitely has more choices comparing to you, long as she is not in sweats/flip flops she can get in with anything I would say.

Bottom point is; beware of your dress code , don't take chances, do not show up throwing up/falling drunk, get there early (like 9 or so) due to pre-sale ticket lines gets insane and still expect to wait a little bit. Expect overcrowded dance floor/bars/restrooms etc.. and just flow with it, just have fun. If you are not OK with any of these facts don't expect a refund either.

        Cheers.

Are these shoes ok for NYE @ XS?

My attire consists of a dark purple button-up, black vest, black jeans, and a blue and white bow tie. I want to do patent leather shoes with the whole thing- will I be able to get in rockin these Creative Recs, or should I stick to strictly dress shoes?

Just figured maaaayyybe the patent leather would be considered ok, even if technically on sneakers.

Does it really work like that? Seems kinda brutal and I'd be surprised if they **** over people like that, especially when there's so many avenues to complain.

The shoes should be fine. The blue and white bow tie with a purple shirt and black vest, though, I'm not sure about.

Sounds weird I know, but it looks pretty sweet, believe it or not- it's a real dark purple. Yes I got multiple second opinions

Anyway, I switched the bowtie to orange and and those kicks to the patent dress shoes. Looked even better. Thanks for your reply!
