My friend and I are going to Vegas Thursday through Wednesday during NYE. I'm guessing the best way to get in is to get on the guestlist. How far ahead should we contact the hosts?

We are definitely going to XS to see Deadmau5 on Monday. About how long will the wait be if we are on the guestlist and get there around 11?

Is Rain worth going to and getting the open bar pass? I'm sure the amount we drink will far surpass the cost of the ticket. I didn't get to check out the Palms my last time I was there and want to spend some time there this time.

Last question, Saints play Sunday at 1. Where's a good party atmosphere to watch the game?

If you do the pass and open bar at Rain, I would go ahead and get the wristband for all of the clubs, having the options and not fighting the GL line at each will be worth it. Not sure which night you are planning to do Palms though given NYE is Saturday and what your plans may be for that night.

Just remember that the games are on at 10am and the town will be packed that day so getting a seat in a hungover or still drunk state of mind will be a challenge. Legasse's is a good time usually for games

I'd contact hosts now just to get some feelers out there. They can help answer a lot of questions and even tell you answers to questions you should have asked.

As for Palms, talk to Phil Loomis about everything. He's hooked me up extremely well so far and there's still more to do.

XS may not have G/L for Deadmau5. But you dont need to contact host for G/L until the week of.

If you two are going to deadmau5 during new years I'd go really early. Def earlier than 11. It'll be crazy there. He's popular. I'm not the hugest fan of his live unhooked sets but it's still going to be packed.

To watch the game you could go to lagasses at palazzo. However, saints are playing Carolina and they may have the division by then so it might be a mellow saint day and more of a wildcard game day. Brees probably will be sitting but yah lagasses is good to try and watch.

I went to deadmau5 in october and it was nuts, no list, $100 for girls nuts. we showed up at 845 and were the first table in, but in the 15 mins we had to wait until they let us in, 20-30 tables lined up behind us. one of our members showed up at 10ish (was drinking so my times are a bit off) and the door was already shut down, he had to wait a while and we had to send someone out to get him. I strongly recommend getting a table or presale tickets for this, and showing up at 845

Yeah, with Deadmau5 there will be no list. Get there early or/and get presale tickets from wantickets.com - last time I was there was the Nov.19th, we walked right in with presale tickets at 11pm. A couple groups of girls I met that night said they showed around the same time in GA and were plucked from the line and brought in.

Last time we saw him was for the XS 2nd Anniversary and they were pulling girls from the line for a while but they still had to pay cover and the wanticket folks got in but had about an hour wait.

It's hard to give you specifics because I've seen something different everytime. Went there for NYE last year and it was bonkers we barely got to our table and lined up at 9pm. So...
