  • Outdoor clubs in winter - trip this weekend

I am headed out on Thursday for a weekend trip - we're lined up for Thursday night at Tryst, Friday at Surrender, and Saturday at Marquee. Looking at the weather for the weekend, temperatures are going down into the high 30's at night, which seems cold for outside tables even with heaters etc.

We're just looking at two bottles/night for our group of 5, so probably not looking at prime table locations - likely patio for Tryst, not sure for Surrender/Marquee.

Can others share with their experience of how colder weather affects crowds at indoor/outdoor venues? Should we look at Tao instead of Tryst on Thursday?

I was just at Marquee last night outside and it was too cold to be comfortable.

Yeah I was SHOCKED when I saw the weather for this weekend (my trip is this weekend too). Kinda bummed, but it's all good. We plan to hit it up hard. They say that booze doesn't make you warmer, but I am going to test that theory.

Those are great clubs, but maybe you should look into clubs that arent inside outside like Haze, Rain, Tao, Lavo, Gallery, Cathouse, LAX. Not only will you make sure your table is inside, you can prob get better table placement.

Yeah it's because of the weather and because I have to wake up so bat shit early on departure day that I will be partying at the clubs at the Palms on Saturday pretty much all day.

Mikey does Surrender have any of the outdoor area covered already?

It worked for me! I fairly warm this past weekend and I was out and about, walking around. I suggest drink as much hard stuff and wine as you can. That works the best.
