  • Table Seating

I looked for a thread that had opinions on where to sit at different clubs, but no luck. Obviously tables on the dance floor or next to DJ are good, but I am looking for tables that do not have a 10 g min. Certain web-sites are good for showing a table layout, but it is nice to have thoughts and opinions along with the table numbers. Any thoughts on where to sit at clubs would be appreciated. Of course I am not looking for answers to every club, but if people want to share where their favorite spots are and why, I would love to hear them.
    Thank You

I think that asking this question for a particular club may get a better reply. When at XS, i prefer the back wall tables, they are cheaper than the middle tier or dance floor but are still inside and have high traffic. At rain i prefer the stage, lower mins than the dance floor, but you get a great view of the club and private security all night keeping land mines out of your area. at surrender, i prefer cabana 107, its the best location out of the cabanas, and cabanas give you the most real estate besides bungalows. I hope this helps. and by all means, ask about any club and ill give you my opinion.

Well, I am slowly getting a gameplan together for a future trip(way too early to conatct hosts yet) and was deciding on where to sit at certain clubs given our budget(two bottles max)and being 4 guys. So far were thinking Cathouse(hopefully the same table again), Surrender, XS, Tryst, and maybe 1OAK. Cathouse for sure one night and the rest we are open. It will be a Thurs thru Mon trip.
        Thanks Darryll

is that 2 bottles per night or 2 bottles for the whole trip. 1oak i have no idea what the mins would be, surrender would be with in your 2 bottle budget, xs depending on what time of the year could be in your budget, but outside most likely, tryst back wall would be with in your 1 bottle budget during winter. Contact your host about a month out and they can confirm the locations and mins.

This website has some layouts for different clubs. Also, I think, mostly it's personal preference.

                Friday - Surrender - 1 Bottle Min
Saturday - Tryst - Bottle Special - Bottle of Grey Goose + Free Bottle of Moet $425 (includes tax)
                Sunday - XS - 1 Bottle Min

*If you tip the host you can get these 1 bottle specials, etc. I did this last week and had good tables. But it depends on the time of year... not Summer.

Darryll how busy would you expect Mid April next year to be in clubs like XS/Surrender/Marquee? Just curious as to know if April is considered to be a slow month or getting towards peak season etc.

Its the beginning of busy season, so expect everyone to bump mins up even if the clubs arent that packed. After a dormant winter the 5k's and 10k's start to come out starting in March with March madness.

This is what I don't want to run into. Last time at tryst for example, four guys got a table and it was perfect for us to drink and have fun. The problem we ran into was the table had 4 individual chairs. Not the easiest place to chill with females. They obviously want to sit and so do the dudes. We want to get a bigger table with couch like seating. More than willing to pay more than 1 bottle min but just can't do 5 g tables. Is that possible at clubs to pull off? I don't have any clue what number those tables are at tryst or any club really.
                        Thanks
