My friend suggested our group (6-8) guys all do the suited & booted night while we are there, but i dont know...i love going out in the suit but 6 guys all in one group dressed similar looks pretty lame. what you think?

Just keep it fresh so you stick out man. Ditch the jacket, roll up the sleeves and throw on a vest. Anything to make you just enough different from the rest to stand out.

i'd ditch the tie though. OR wear a skinny tie with pants and no jacket

someone else mentioned it but its worth repeating... not all suits look good, it HAS TO FIT WELL! tailored it good, slim cuts are good. jackets that are too big look cheap no matter how you paid, pleats are a no no,

Tailored and no pleats FOR SURE.

I always tuck my collared shirt into my jeans, and usually wear a jacket, vest, or slim tie. You gotta have the right jeans though or it looks awkward. Low rise, proper fit, back pockets and belt loops can't be too big (or too small.)

Its style, it depends on you. What is cool to one person is retarded to another. I wouldnt be caught dead in a vest and rolled up shirt with skinny tie, but i see it all the time. For me i like to bend the trend, for example, i just got these thanks to the 70% code offered on this site, and rock them with my black suit, full hand tailored, custom tailored shirt with my name on the french cuffs and a fat double windsor knot with dimple.

What are peoples thoughts on wearing braces with a suit and skinny tie? here in London braces are making a bit of a comeback. How would they go down in Vegas?

i have never done the skinny tie thing but in general i only wear braces because i have no other option - no belt loops. so its either braces, side adjusters, a combination of the two, or none of the above.

having said that i wouldnt wear braces with the intention of taking off my jacket so ppl could see the braces. seems a bit too contrived. but then again it is vegas...do what makes u happy.

Do what you want dude. You wanna rock the suit then go for it! Everyone will be dressed up anyway so you won't be over dressed.

Yep, same in oz. Rocking suspenders under your suit will get you funny looks, we call garter belts suspenders..
