  • One host or many?

When organising a weeks worth of nights out, should you ask each clubs invididual hosts or are there some hosts which can just sort everything out for you?
I'm sure all the hosts know each other and have good relationships...
Any recommendations for who can sort it all out for me? I'm looking at the main clubs i.e. XS, TRYST, MARQUEE, TAO etc...

One host can sort it all out if you want it done for you.

does it work out cheaper? I don't mind putting in some work if I'm gonna save some money ;-)

That's the payoff of doing it all yourself. Saving money. Just like a travel agent booking all your stuff for vacation - a one host system takes out the leg work - but doing it yourself saves money typically.

Matter of preference, I prefer multiple hosts just so I can get to know more in the industry. For the clubs you listed though, you really only need 2 hosts as xs and tryst are part of the same management group and marquee/ Tao are Tao group

If you find a host you like, then just use that person. If they are really a host then they will know a manager or senior guy at every venue worth going to and can set up other table options for you. Also when a host calls another host or manager, the deals are always better (at least they are for me). I remember when my 7 guys called a host at tryst (one from this board) and were quoted a 2k min and then bumped to a 3k min the day of. They quickly called me and i got them a 2 btl min (under 1k).

Of course if money isnt a problem, then by all means spread the love around with multiple hosts.

            1 host = 1 shake = more value

Depends on who your one host is

Most likely your one host will have to pass you off to someone else anyway though.

Yea, well most hosts aren't going to be hanging out with me the whole night or letting me crash on their couch either :P You're the exception to the rule.

I kinda meant, if you have a host at club A and want to go to club B and C, they are likely going to "hand you off" to someone. Which by all means is fine, as long as you trust your Host at club A, you know they'll do work for you!

So I have one host that that I plan on helping me for my entire next trip. I met this person and worked with them before and quickly realized he/she can get shit done. My only question is if he/she hooks us up every place we go, do we still tip the $100 to every host that walks us in? The original host will be highly compensated initially, but I am wondering if the different hosts will be expecting it? Or does the people this host know just understand what's going on?

Depends on how it's all done/setup I suppose (maybe your first host is going to throw back some of that high initial compensation to his host buddies that help you out... or maybe he keeps it all for himself). I'd ask host #1

Just ask the 1 host (your point person) and they will explain all the details
