I'm sure he'll have dates around Memorial Day or EDC, maybe July 4th, and Labor Day Weekend. Then a few others scheduled in there like XS's 3-year anniversary, etc.

While I haven't seen him at a club (though I will be at XS on Jan 2!), if you can catch him on tour with his cube & full arena light show, it's worth seeing.

My friends and are are looking at going to Deadmou5 on Jan 2nd. I'm not familiar with all the Vegas club stuff so if you could help me out it'd be appreicated... if we buy tickets from wanttickets.com ahead of time, will we still have to wait in line to get into the club or will we get to go right in?

You're most definitely be waiting in line but if I remember reading right there is a separate line for wanticket.com ticket holders. Dont quote me on that though.

There is a seperate line for the ticket holders and as long as you arrive at a decent time (10-10:30), you shouldn't have that long of a wait.

Make sure you have your confirmation letter with you. The person working the door will have a list of all the people who have bought tickets on wanttickets.com.

I have used Wantickets over a dozen times this year - I would definitely recommend it if you aren't getting a table. The best part way to do it is to buy the "early bird" deals when even guys pay $50 or less for even the biggest names. I'm sure that has passed for deamau5 though, so just a FYI moving forward. And I would say getting there in the ticketholder line at 10-1030 would be a good time on a "normal" night. But on NYE and other major holidays (MDW, LDW, Halloween, etc) you'll want to move that up an hour or so.

I love Deadmau5, but as he likes to say (especially when he places well in DJmag's "Top 100" DJs) he's not a DJ, he's a music producer. Is he going to have enough stuff to not be repetitive month after month?

On the other hand, with his popularity it's pretty clear XS/Encore Beach aren't going to be struggling to get people in to the shows, so...

+1 I don't personally like him live saw him at XS last February...but the guy is a technical genius in production
