  • Bachelor Party in August

    Hello there,

I am hosting a bachelor party in August and am in need of some suggestions on where to go for a group that is about 20 people or so.

We well be there 8/7-8/9 and the only thing that we definitely want to do is get bottle service at Encore beach club. Since it will be so many guys, how much will it cost in bottle service on 8/8?

Besides EBC, I am not sure where we are going but will probably go to a strip club on Friday (suggestion for a group this size?) and clubbing the night of 8/8 (open to suggestions here as well).

I was also reading that it is possible to get a private poker game set up at some vegas hotels. Has anyone done this? If so, any details would be great.

I am open to all other ideas as well, would like this to be as memorable as possible.

    TIA

With that big of a group and Kaskade that day you may want to find out how much everyone is willing to contribute. You will be surprised at what people have in mind to spend.

My best man had a hell of a time as we had over 15 guys for mine and their ranges were all over the place. Kaskade is a monster draw which = monster $$$$ to get some real estate.

      Welcome
1st should ask about the budget
To give you an idea most nightclubs/pool parties are going to do 1 bottle per 4 people min. Depending on bottle prices say $550+28% tax tip= say $700 a bottle x 5 $3500 min low end- better location higher min.
can also do presale tickets which might be $30-50 a guy- $600 to $1000 for just entry.
      2nd to help you plan
nightclubs open around 11pm with headline dj on around 1am going till around 5am
pool parties open around 11am with headline dj on around 3pm going till around 6pm.
      3 strip clubs
ALL strip clubs do free limo/free entry and most have bottle specials ex $100 bottles before 8 or 9pm.
      4. the nightclubs/pool parties are really good in vegas
      would do
      Friday- Nightclub
      Sat- Pool Party and Nightclub
and strip club around the nightclub and pool party

Thanks for the heads up. I know it's going to be an expensive weekend and figure if the people aren't up for certain parties, they can fend for themselves.

If you don't mind me asking, what did your itinerary consist of? Things you liked and things you could have changed?

        Thanks again!

Thanks for the insight. As far as going the ticket route is concerned, will guest still be required to wait in a long line if they bought tickets?

Do you have suggestion on the best strip clubs for a group this size and could you tell me which clubs has the $100 bottle promos?

          Thanks again!

BTW i like your itinerary, my main concern is if we can all hang with that amount of drinking.

We were there from Thurs to Tues so we had a lot go on.

            Some ideas/notes:

Get the bach party dinner locked in. We did Brand Steakhouse at Monte Carlo as they had some great deals on sides and the steaks where 2 or 3 can go in on 1 steak. Some guys didn't want steak and had the entire menu to choose from. We also liked the casino as it was not as crowded which allowed us to be a little louder and the drink service is on point after dinner.

Go on the higher end for a minimum spend for a table at the club. Better location when the min is higher but also make sure you tip your host. So if you want Kaskade, pool it together and do Kaskade aka epic moment.

We didn't stay in our rooms really at all and did Harrah's and bounced around. Centrally located, clean room and comfortable bed. We didn't see a need to overspend for a place that we were in for maybe 6 hours tops to sleep. Plus 10 of us got the rooms comped as we are a bunch of gamblers that go to Vegas a few times a year.

The only thing I would have changed throughout was getting to play Bali Hai golf course while out there. We played 2 rounds elsewhere but I would have rather traded those 2 in for 1 round there.

Talk to the groom and get his take on what he expects. My best man knew I wanted to gamble, golf and enjoy the pools on the weekend and it was set up accordingly.

Get the plans locked in before you leave, doing it while in Vegas will suck.

I sent you a PM re pricing we received for EBC when we are there 5/30 so that will give you an idea on cost.

            Hope this helps.

Just got back from my brother's bachelor party with 15 guys over mdw. We didn't do any BS this time since his friend's budgets were different mine, but did BS last year for my bachelor party.

Some conclusions I have drawn from these two trips.

              1. Presales work out fantastic. 15 of us got in with 30 min at each club we went to over mdw (XS twice, Omnia once)

              2. If you're getting BS, shell out a little bit of extra money for a quality spot. At XS, pretty much any of the tables inside are good. For EBC, In your case with that many people, your best option would be to get a lower cabana. if you can only afford an upper cabana it's not worth it (personally too far away from the energy)

              3. Plan to spend around 450-500 per person for each time you get BS.

              4. Do the big dinner on Friday to get it out of the way and while everyone is rested. Sat will be shit show if you're doing BS at EBC and then clubbing at night.
              2011: Palazzo | Tao | Moon

              2014: Venetian | Tao | Hak | EBC | XS

              2015: Cromwell | Drai's | Palazzo | Tryst | XS | Omnia | Nightswim
