Bucks Trip. 20+ guys, 7 day in Las Vegas!!

Hi guys,

So you read the title correctly. Around 20 of the boys are heading to Las Vegas in July (11th - 17th).. for 7 days!

I know, it sounds like a long time for that many guys, and everyone we have spoken to have said its too long. However, at the request of the buck this is the set time frame and can't be changed.

What i want clarification on from everyone here is the following;

- What the F'ck do we do for 7 days? Should we head out of town for a day or so?

- Is clubbing every night achievable (cost, practicability, sanity)?

- Should we just do tables/bottle service every night we go out to guarantee entry? Or if we go early on particular nights we will be fine with a large group?

- Should we engage a host to assist? Or book ahead with a service like jackify.com?

I suppose the underlying question is, from everyone's experience, if you were to plan a trip like this, what would you include as 'must do's' and what advice would you give for that many guys staying that long in Vegas?

Clearly, planning as much as we can will save a lot of headaches come July.

If you haven't been before, the Grand Canyon for sure. Amazing place. Helicopter is great, but you have time so might want to do a road trip there. Plus, 20 lads all can't fit into one chopper

The AUDUSD exchange rate is pretty rough at the moment, so bottles every day and night will be $$$$$$$$. You will invariably have people who simply can't do 7d/7n of straight partying.

I'm doing 10 days the week after you. There is plenty to do in 7.

You don't need to leave Vegas if you don't want to. It's also going to be extremely hot so all those wonders of nature right outside of Vegas are a bit less wonderful with the extreme heat.

I've done 7 days with a pool and a club every day, but given a group that large some people will definitely fail at that. Budget determines how often you should do table service and if you should go to a club every night. Assume $200 a night per person if you are doing table service, and $50 a night per person if you do presale tickets.

Nighttime pool parties are great for doing presale tickets since you have more non-reserved space during those. With regard to hosts the general idea is that first party hosts that work directly for the club are the best, and Jack Colton hosts are a close second, while everything else should be disregarded.

Strip clubs vary greatly, I recommend the Palomino, the only strip club with full nudity and alcohol, but with 7 days you could probably check out a few.

XS Nightswim
Drai's Yacht Club
Wet at Night
EBC at Night
Encore Beach Club
Palomino Strip Club
Secret Pizza
Good Buffet (Bacchanal, Wynn, Bellagio)
Steakhouse (STK, Delmonico, SW Steakhouse)
Walk the Strip with drinks from Walgreens in hand, looking at the fountains and the volcano along the way
Party Bus for transportation at least one night, if not more often

Check out Lake Havasu. it's about 2.5hrs outside Las Vegas and in Arizona. Cool place to check out if your looking to get out for a day or two.

Large group of guys, so table service at the nightclubs will be the way to go to start off. You'll be looking at probably $250 to $300 per head.

Definitely hit up the pool parties and dayclubs during the day, then try for nightclubs during the evenings. Might rest some nights and catch a show, concert, etc. Lots to do in Vegas like at the race track, race some exotic cards, check out the grand canyon.

Have fun. That's a crazy group size you guys have. Sure it'll be fun.

1. have a look at lineups to get an idea of events you would like to attend.
2. nightclubs are open from 11pm headline dj on around 1am going till 5am, pool parties 11am headline dj on around 3pm going till say 6pm.
3. budget will drive the table choice vs presale tickets
4. all strip clubs do free limo/free entry- but just be aware what part of town the club is in because the ride back isn't free.

Specifically for your trip you have Monday-Friday- Saturday/Sunday afternoon are the big pool party days- which means you have four week days of day activities to think about-
So roughly:
11 Sat- pool party depending on arrival, Nightclub
12 Sun- Pool party, XS nightswim
13 Mon- day? /nightclub xs,marquee
14 Tues- day? /nightclub Omnia or Drais night pool party
15 Wens- day? /wet@night or light
16 Thurs- day? /encore beach@night or Calvin Harris Hakkasan or others
17 Friday leave

Firstly, I think we have all come to the realisation that the 7 days is going to be very expensive. The general consensus is.. Whatever we are only going to do this once, let's do it properly. $300 - $400 nights are to be expected and if it means hassle free, perhaps table service is the way to go.

We have accomodation booked, so all good there. Grand Canyon definitely on the list. Shooting and exotic car racing sounds epic. I'd say if we throw a show or something in there, that is a really good start to get away and begin planning. On the days we are around town, we will hit day and night parties recommended. We will certainly book based on who is playing, perhaps the schedule isn't out yet I can't find much info

So, if we get a host to sort all our nights/day parties can we expect they will sort out table service and transportation?

Do a lot of groups when the go to Vegas do a fair stint in the hotel room before going out? Can we rock up later (closer to main dj time) if we have a host that has pre booked. We figure this might save some costs.

Do celebrities hosting nights at clubs have any bearing on how 'big' the night will be? The whole guest appearances thing is not really done over here.

Lastly, any good shopping??!

For shopping - Las Vegas premium outlets. Search for address online but there is one North and one South of the strip.

Celebrity appearances are generally at the tier 2 clubs rather than the big dogs. I haven't ever been to one cos it doesn't appeal to me.

You can rock up later in the night if you have a table but it might mean that the location you thought you had booked has been gobbled up by some crew willing to pay way above market

Edit : yes it is common to pregame in your room before hitting the club. But with a 20 thick deep entourage you're gonna have a decent minimum to hit (probably 6-8 bottles between you)

Another question. In Oz we get topless waitresses to come to our apartments and serve drinks if we have parties.

Is there any service like that in Vegas that will provide girls to our hotel rooms for pre-drinks? Boobs and banter..

There are tier 1 nightclubs and tier 1 dayclubs/pool parties.

Sometimes the same venue is used - e.g. EBC is the best pool party, but there is also an event called "EBC at Night" which runs on Thursdays. The pool area of EBC is also used as the outdoors part of Surrender nightclub (which is open Wed, Fri, Sat).

Tier 1 clubs - XS, Omnia, Hakkasan, Marquee, Light
Tier 1 pools - EBC, Marquee Dayclub, Wet Republic

Tier 1 generally just means bigger in size and bigger/well known headline acts (e.g. Calvin Harris, Guetta, etc which bring a lot of girls out). You can have a good time at just about any other club or pool in Vegas - some people like a more intimate venue so instead prefer places like Liquid or Tao Beach.

If you're anything like me, though - you want to go to the biggest and best that Vegas has to offer. Those are the Tier 1s I listed above. We have no clubs that big or with that much money spent on them here at home.

Yeh man, it's Vegas. If you use one of the recommended hosts on here for your club arrangements, they will be well connected and can hook you up with anything you need

With so much information to absorb, it sounds like you are doing this the right way. With the accommodations already made, the next step is figuring out budget and the third would be where to use that money.

Being their for 7 days, def make sure to hit the clubs thursday, fri, sat, sun. Do the other activities on the off days. I'd def recommend the exotic car racing, if your into that sort of thing.

I'd second the recommendations given for club venues.

I would not worry about doing presale for that many guys. When doing presale, the number of people in your group doesn't matter because your group will just be part of a larger number of everyone else doing presale so whether your 2 or 20, its a small percentage of the presale group.

For presale nightclubs: XS and Omnia are going to be the most friendly, Hak is much better for BS
Day clubs: Def do EBC and then have your pick of MDC, Wet, and Drais

Tips:
-BS goes farther for day parties vs nightclubs so if money is tight, i'd throw more money there
-you could always do half the group BS and the other half presale to save on money if you need to
-presales need to arrive by 1030-11, BS you can get there later
-strip clubs offer discounts/free transportation if you call and set it up
- do at least one pool nightclub (ebc at night on thurs, or nightswim on sun)

For XS many people recommend Bobby Yeadon
For EBC lots of people have used Trevor Pickering
Drais - Chris Traer

I'm sure others will chime in about hosts for other venues

Has anyone done these, recommend/don't recommend;

Indoor sky diving? High performance go carting? High-roller ferris wheel?

So, if i take the time to plan the nights (pending dj lineup, night of the week etc), would it be best to contact you guys for host recommendations for each club? Then sort each day/night out individually with them? I already have XS, EBC and Drais sorted.

Or, should i just get one guy eg. Noah Ortiz to organise the whole lot?

The hotel we are staying at is one of the tier 1 club hotels. In that case is it better to ask for a host for the club associated with our hotel to book our clubbing? Considering we are staying there and have already invested a lot of money in that chain? Does that warrant any priority service? Ticket discounts?

Sorry i'm afraid to mention the hotel as we had more than enough trouble getting 20 guys booked there in the first place.

You won't get a reduced minimum or special bottle deal by staying where you are going to a pool or club, but you have the benefit of not wasting time in taxi lines or figuring out limos or a party bus to move everyone. So on my next trip we are staying at Encore, so EBC and XS has a priority for our group over MDC or Marquee just because of the convenience of not having to move a large group.

Usually using a direct host from a club gets you better minimums or placement of your table, but repeatedly using a host can also lead to similar benefits, so it's a tough call whether or not to use a couple different direct hosts or just stick with one of the Jack Colton ones for the whole trip.

There are plenty of services for bartenders, clothed or not, so you could just ask a host for a connection or look online to find one.

Most of the tier 1 clubs and pools are at extremely large hotels so you should feel comfortable talking about where you are staying, I don't think you could possibly run into trouble from saying it here. When there are literally thousands of rooms at a hotel, one group of 20 people doesn't merit any scrutiny.

The Highroller is probably something to skip, it's pretty expensive for what it is. I've heard good things about indoor skydiving. For shows Le Reve and Beatles Love are usually the preferred Cirque-style shows.

You can plan all you want but with that large of a group there are going to be some that have different ideas on cost and such. Now add a week in Vegas and some having a limited budget.....

Make sure you get the cash up front for the nights you do clubs. My best man had a shit show of a time because some of the gambling derelicts would say"cover me now I'll get you tomorrow" and such. Nada..didn't happen...moving on. Cash was king and dictated the terms for the events.

I would definitely hit up Noah as they posted on another link about having bottle deals on the weekends at other clubs and such. Could possibly stretch your $$ out more. Link to that post:

Take advantage of the happy hour specials throughout Vegas at the pubs, bars and restaurants.

We did Thursday night down on Fremont Street just hitting the lounges and bars to mix it up a bit and save some money. Cheap gambling down there also and also checked the box saying we were there.
