  • Belgians looking for some Bachelor party help

    Hi Guys,

I'm organizing a bachelor party in Vegas, and i'm afraid I need some help.

I've been to Vegas a couple of times, but always with my wife, so not quite the same as coming with 8 friends all the way from Belgium for a bachelor party.

We'll be in Vegas from April 8th to April 13th 2015.

Question 1: We (7 guys) would like to go to David Guetta at XS on Friday April 11th. I'm guessing the most affordable thing for us would be to pay GA tickets online in advance? Or do you guys have any other suggestions. We're not really interested in bottle service that night, as we want to do that the next day when we have the big bachelor party. How long are the lines usually to get in when you already have tickets? Is it advisable to tip the bouncer to be able to skip the line? All advice welcome please. We're not really used to the whole tipping thing etc...

Question 2: The next day Saturday April 12th we're (9 guys) doing the whole bachelor party thing. Diner - Stripclub - Club. Avicii is playing XS that night, but since we will already have been there the night before we'd rather go to another club. What EDM club would you guys advise that has affordable table/bottle service. We're totally not into rap, hiphop etc... We're from Belgium, home of Tommorowland, so it has to be EDM all the way. Any suggestions, good advice?

Question 3: Are there any smaller EDM clubs in Vegas? Maybe more underground? I've read about this club called AFTER with it's infamous DJ rules. Does anyone have any info on that club or similar clubs?

Thank in advance for your help!

    Hi,

A dutchie here, been to Vegas twice and will try to share my experience from the European view compared to the general view of the states

I would buy GA tickets and hop in line on time. Vegas parties start "early" compared to the Netherlands/Belgium. Make sure to get in before 12. Lines are "insane" long and once you enter it, it will look like you will be in in minutes. Unfortunately you will have multiple rooms before you can really go inside. Last time I asked an employee of the XS if we could enter directly with the GA ticket and had a talk where we are from, she walked us straight in. Once again, it's not a guarentee but you can try to ask how stuff works in the USA and maybe tip her some bucks (since you are with multiple lads, i would say tip 50).

I haven't been to Hakassan, but it seems to be great, or maybe try the new club in Ceasars Palace (Omnia). This should fit your EDM style.

Can't help you with that one.

        welcome

        April 8th- checkout light
April 9th wait for lineups- omnia or hakkasan
        April 10th Guetta XS
April 11th pool party Calvin Harris Wet republic
        April 11th Avicii xs
        April 12th diplo encore beach
        April 12th skrillex xs
Would definitely add calvin harris opening pool party on saturday and encore beach diplo on sunday.

On Presale- yes $30 for David Guetta on a Friday night is as low as it gets. Those tickets will increase in price as it gets closer/ the door price will be much higher. In terms of wait time xs used to be very good about having a separate line for presales. On slower nights they combined presale with ga and bouncers wanted $20 each to skip.

Also keep in mind headline djs start at nightclubs start around 1am and for pool parties 3pm.

In terms of Friday/Saturday bottle specials those are the big nights in vegas so the big clubs expect like $600 bottle on thursday/sunday you can get specials 2 for 600 etc. Strip clubs do free entry/free limo and bottle specials example $100 bottles before 8pm or 9pm depends on place. For example life for 8 people on 4/11 is $1,500 Minimum $2,102.00 allin with tax.

AFTER does one event a week in vegas now Sunday from 2am-8am at body english.

So for Saturday you could go to dinner, strip club, avicii, and AFTER if you wanted.

        Best

Thanks for the info guys! I might come back to this if I have any further questions.

So far AFTER is only confirmed until the end of March. Hopefully they'll continue into April. Would love to go there!!

Ok, so firstly, you are right, don't go to the same club two days in a row if you want a true Vegas experience.
Second, no one goes to After really in terms of the Vegas tourist scene so if you want girls etc.. stick the main big EDM clubs.
Third0 sooo many options and it all depends on budget. Light/Hakk/Omnia/Marquee, will alll have the music and vibe you are looking for but they will all vary on bottle pricing/ locations, etc... Omnia will be the new hot club probably as it opens in march and has massive massive talent booked.
Fourth, you are not even talking about the pool parties, those will be probably more fun and unique than a club experience as they don't have anything in the world like the VEgas pool parties. So what you can do is XS one night and then an EDM big pool Saturday, Wet/Encore Beach/Daylight, etc.. instead of a club. Your money will go further and you will be able to get food as part of your minimum. Saturday night do a strip club like Rhino, late after you recover from pool, avoid the club altogether if you want. Then Sunday chill, hit another pool and do a club Sunday night when they are much much cheaper but still good parties. XS/Hakkasan much cheaper Sundays. Just a quick advice, hopefully not too much info, but should help a bit.
