  • Bachelor party, EDC, 15 dudes - thoughts on nightlife?

Hello folks - have read a lot of the threads on the site and you all have a ton of useful information. Wonder if anyone has advice on our particular situation:
EDC weekend, arriving Friday 6/20, leaving Sunday 6/22
Planning on making a big night of it Friday night, and then something more chill Sat (with a day party on Sat)
15 guys, mix of single and not single but everyone will be happy with attractive women around
Budget - we'd probably like to keep it to 200/person all-in for the night, plus drinks if necessary

    A few questions:
    - Any suggestions on clubs for Friday night? I think we're not too picky on the music - I probably prefer hiphop but for EDC it's pretty much electronic/house everywhere, we can live with that.
    - Given the above budget (ie, 3K for 15 guys) is table/bottle service realistic? Any suggestions on how to get started down this path?
    - If not, how bad would presale tickets be for us? On wanttickets, prices for a lot of nightclubs are just 50-75/guy, but is there a chance we shell out for presale tickets and then just get turned away because we're a big group of guys? If getting there early (10pm or earlier) helps, we can probably do that.

Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Well, you're going to need to bump up that all-in per guy or start doing some real smart maneuvering around with who can spend, who can't and who will have more fun than the others.

$3k all in = 2000 min = 3.5 bottles or ($2380 pre tax going with $595 min bottles)

That MIGHT get you sat somewhere with 15 dudes (which is a lot) but the 3.5 bottles will be the kicker annddddd it's EDC which is going to spike every price everywhere like you couldnt believe. IMO bad weekend to plan this around if everyone wasn't bringing 500-$1000 a head.

I had a setup for a bachelor party May 10th at XS for (7 guys) with $1.5k min, $500 shake, $80 in tips which ended up coming to around $2,700 once the night was done. We had 3 bottles, a round of 7 beers and that's it. Had a decent 2 table back by stripper pole location. We ended up having 4 more people join us to make it 11 later but no one cared. The 7 of us pretty much downed that first bottle within 10 minutes, the second one i had to hide and the third I waited on delivery till 12:30.

I guarantee you can get a table somewhere with that min, but it's going to use up your entire budget, your probably going to get a subpar location and it will be very crowded with 15.

EDC is going to be a massive weekend and while there will be a TON of people not there during the night due to the festival, there will still be maxed out prices because...well just because. It's like NYE/4th/MDW. Big event based on partying. Prices skyrocket.

I would start hitting up hosts at places you want to party. You can find all their information in the stickied threads or above where it says Direct Host Contacts. I would give them the following info:

    Group Size: 15
    Budget all-in: 3k
    Shake :350-500
Tell them you are on JC, for a bachelor party and will arrive as early as needed. They might not have anymore info this far out but a week or so away I would get in contact to verify. Same with day before/day off to make sure all is good on your end and theirs.

Hope they give you some good info and options. I can say it won't be pretty and if you can pony up another $100 from a few it will make the night better. You are probably not going to get a stellar location based on group size and budget but you can opt for a bigger more congregated back area and then 4 bottles.

Pre-sale is fine and you won't get turned away. Guestlist you could be (rarely). It's like actually buying tickets to a real show, they won't not let you in. They are aware of capacity (and don't really care too much about presale/guestlist. Tables are where it's at for clubs)

Id plan on hard pre-gaming, big back area and pulling ladies back to drink but with 15 broskis and everyone having a great time, downing booze becomes everyones passions.

here are the announced lineups so far
      http://forums.jackcolton.com/showthr...ounced-lineups

On bottle service keep in mind its generally 1 bottle per four people so with 15 they might hit you with a 4 bottle min or you could go for 3 bottles- 12. Depends on bottle prices at the club and also higher min for better location.

EDC weekend means 135,000 people are out at the speedway each night. Table mins at night shouldn't be insanely high because such a huge group of people are off the strip. For the pool parties esp Saturday could see some really high prices because so many people are in town and the pools only hold in the single digit thousands.

In terms of presales you will be fine even with a large group
      FYI: in terms of timing
most nightclubs open around 11pm with headliners on at 1am
most pools open around 11am with headliners on at 3pm
