Bachelor Party - Big Group at Steakhouse help needed

I have a big group coming in (16-18) and we're trying to celebrate one night at a steakhouse. Every place seems to have a group prix fixe deal for a party our size which kind of sucks because it limits the menu options and some even add on group fees. Any suggestions on getting around it, a place that might not do this or what to do? I should mention that all the place we've talked to are in hotels, is there a good non hotel steakhouse that might not do this?

I had a big group (bachelor party) of about 14 and we ended up at Fix in the Bellagio. They put us in the private room thats secluded from the rest of the restaurant without the doors open, but it was actually pretty sweet. If I recall the only thing that was fixed was the auto-grat, which is standard for groups that size. Decent vibe in the place, and good food.

Have you looked into Envy at the Renaissance Hotel? It is off strip a bit, but some of the best steak I've ever had.

Brand Steakhouse at Monte Carlo accomodated us for my bach party last July. Got the reservation the day of Sat. the 13th for 16 and no problem.

Got out of there for just over $100 per person all in with autogratuity. Bunch of the guys did the steak for 2 and the 3 sides for $25. It's my go to every trip.

I had my bachelor party in Vegas a couple years ago. For the main dinner, most places tried to direct me to their 'banquet coordinator' or whatever. The shitty thing about this was that they said, 'ok, for 14 guys, you must hit a $xxxx minimum'. In addition to that, they made us put down a deposit to hold the spot.
With that being said, we scratched that idea and ended up going to Kokomo's in Mirage (no longer exists).
One thing to keep in mind that we learned the hard way - they most likely will not split checks. Collecting money up front will be a huge pain in the ass cause people will be drinking and it'll be tough to gauge what the bill will be and it's always tough to collect money after the fact.

What places have you called? Big group dinners are normal in Vegas, so this is kinda throwing me. Just let them know you'd rather order a la carte. You might want to NOT mention it's a bachelor party, it could be hurting you.

Nope. Called the restaurant directly. Told them I had a party of 18. Didn't mention bachelor party. We can be there at 8 and they said come on in. Was seated in 20 minutes.

Might want to try Morton's just off the strip. Great food, and you'll probably get less hassle.

That's odd, did you check with Prime or Mastro's? Last year, I brought 14-15 to Prime and I think 12 to Mastro's and we ordered a la carte.

I'm headed to joes seafood and steakhouse (party of 13). Deposit and fixed menu required but it was painless. We have the boardroom. I image it will be a great meal and a nice setting.
