  • Bachelor Party Feb 27th

Hi, we're going to Vegas at the end of Feb for a bachelor party of 12 guys and were wondering what evening activities to arrange.

Thurs - We were thinking about doing a partybus like nitetours to get into some clubs, save some money and avoid the lines. Has anyone been on these? Are they any good?

Fri - Strip club - likely Spearmint Rhino - wasnt sure what time is best to go. Most of us are new to strip clubs - I've seen they do a happy hour before 8pm with $100 bottles - is it too quiet then? Or is it better to go early before it gets packed?

Sat - Wanted to hit a club and have a big night and do table service. We're more into hip hop Rnb and chart music rather than electrodance - where would be good both for music and for price on bottle service? If clubs are going to be super pricey are we better off bar hopping downtown? Most people seem happy to pay $200-300/each for bottle service but I can foresee it getting out of hand.

Daytime activities we were hoping to arrange were shooting, maybe a helicopter trip to the grand canyon, driving range, or dune buggies. We were also hoping to maybe get our table at one of the casinos for a poker game - is that possible?

    Thanks for your help!

Club tours usually aren't very good. You're better off picking one club and buying presale tickets if you want to save money. For example, you could do Gusto at Tryst (http://www.wantickets.com/Events/148...yst-Las-Vegas/), Work Hard Play Hard Thursdays at Ghostbar (http://www.wantickets.com/Events/150...ft-DJ-Soulman/), W&W at Hakkasan (http://www.wantickets.com/Events/148...san-Las-Vegas/) or Justin Credible at Tao (http://www.wantickets.com/Events/150...TAO-Nightclub/). All those clubs should be a pretty good time on Thursday night without being overly crowded or breaking the bank.

    FRI

Rhino is a great time. I've only been after clubs (2am or so) but you'd probably have a good time going early since it is a bachelor party. You'll get a better table and more attention. If that's your only activity for the night (not trying to do a club after/before) then no harm in showing up earlier... But before 8pm might be kind of weird/lame.

    SAT

If you want hip hop, you're probably looking at 1Oak for your best bet. RedFoo (from LMFAO) is at XS, which is an awesome club where you'll have an amazing time, but I'm not sure whether he does more hip hop (I suspect yes...) and the minimums will be higher. If you want to have a big night and do bottle service though, definitely go for one of these two (Hyde and Haze may also be more hip hop focused). Save money and big night are kind of conflicting ideas, so you should pick one. I definitely recommend doing a big night, even if it is expensive, for one night while you are there. $300 each should be doable for two tables @ $1500 minimum (so like $320/person I guess assuming you JUST buy bottles) but you'll have to talk to hosts to know for sure.

I can't help you with the non-party activities or poker, sorry!

Thurs- The clubs that will play what you want AND are Industry Nights spots are Haze/Tryst/Tao. Any of those should work. The problems with the club hopping is timing. You want to be at these during the peak so 12-230 am roughly, not hopping around.

Fri- Rhino has plenty of girls, I usually go 7ish before I go to work and hang out. You can get deals and free limo etc.. PM if you need a contact.

Fri - Night, go GA or T2 club if budget

Sat- Day party, go to Lavo Brunch or Ghostbar Dayclub. You will want to go 1-2pm to avoid the rush, but they peak 4-6pm.

Sat Night- Here you have quite a few options. 1Oak, Haze, Pure, Bank, Hyde, Tryst, if you want to stay away from pure EDM.

Did my bach party last July and one piece of advice. Get everyone's money commitment up front/now.

Club tours are a cheap way to do things but....you spend an hour at each place and then end up at the last place and will have to cab it back to wherever you are staying. No time for picking up or hanging with the ladies. It's a now you see it now on to the next one. Did it a few years ago with a bunch of friends who wanted to do a cheap night and they regretted it after.

Make sure you call the strip club and have them pick you up in the limo. If you do cabs it's that cab fee plus the entry fee. Limo is free but you will have to cab it back.

I agree with Chris...bach party + big night does not = saving money.

12 guys at $300/person is around $2600 commit before 20% autogratuity ($520), 8% sales tax ($208) , tip to the host ($300 min), busboy ($30) and security ($50) which is $3708 all in. Depending on the dj there may also be a 10% LET tax ($260). Our group's rule of thumb is 3 guys per bottle which means for your group 4 bottles x $500/per = $2000 used. Now add you want to bring women to the table(s) which mean liquor out of the bottles, shots, other drinks or beers, more bottles which means more money. Real estate = $$$

The Light group has packages for bachelor parties. Will get more bang for your buck doing the ultra lounges. Possibly do 2 of the top shelf deals. Personally did Gold Boutique and did the job for 1 night. Group (18) was all over the place and 5 of us just did it for 1 night to change it up.

        http://lightgroup.com/bachelorette/i...uys-night-out/

We did Brand Steakhouse for the bach dinner not using the pre fix menu and go out of there for right around $100 per with drinks/autogratuity with 14 guys and then hit the lounges at Cosmo that are on each floor around the Chandelier. Called day of to get our reservations since we were all pooling it during the day and had to see how many would soldier on.

        Hope this helps.

That is a helpful post. I'm also going with a bachelor party. Question, do you get free cover as a group of guys if you call for a limo? To get a limo do you just call a number on the website for the strip club?

Has anyone done pre-sale with a bachelor party either at night or day clubs? If so I am wondering if the clubs are cool with a group that large walking up at once, or did you break into smaller groups to walk in?

You can get free cover. The limo guys get a kick back for bringing you, so it's all about negotiating or if negotiating with a limo driver isn't your thing, you can set something up with a host before you go. I'm sure the known hosts here can help you out, Joey Orr or Kaz off the top of my head.
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

            Planning
            2014 - March 13-16 - Bachelor Party
            2014 - June 5th - 9th (maybe) - Big 30.

Thanks for your replies guys, seems like the club crawl isn't the best idea. The suggestions for which clubs have RnB music are really helpful.

I saw there is a dinner nightlife package deal for Tao, comes to about $100pp and includes table and 1 bottle - was thinking of getting this on the Thursday night - good idea?

I haven't eaten at Tao but heard the food is great although 1 bottle won't get you very far with 12 of you so plan to spend more. We had a dancefloor table on a Thursday last time we were in Vegas and we had an incredible night apart from loosing one of the guys for 20hrs after he was carried out of there but thats another story!!
An 8,000 mile journey is always worth it when it ends in Vegas!
