  • Planning Bachelor Party for May 16-19

    Hey all,

I'm starting to look into booking a bachelor party for May 16-19.
    6 guys, 25-35 yrs old.
Not really into busy clubs/ edm (more rock/hip hop but will do anything if its not too obnoxious) ... looking for suggestions on lounges or more laid back clubs, pool party suggestions and central hotels (girls). Trying to not go too overboard on budget but if it makes sense to spend the extra scratch, i say we spend the extra scratch.

Hotels that have been suggested were Hard Rock, PH/Elara, Cosmo...

Thanks in advance for helping plan this rager...

Hard Rock is off strip, so a bit annoying to cab everywhere. PH, Cosmo solid. Aria Vdara, Monte Carlo, that whole area there is ideal. Tons of clubs/ bars you can walk to or quick cab ride. Also pool parties will be going, Liquid/Marquee/Wet/ Daylight not too far all on that part of the strip. Pools, plan on spending 500-750 mins for beds roughly. Clubs look at 2 bottle mins, won't be best locations at clubs but you will have real estate. Pools you get more bang for your buck, they last longer and you can eat at all of em and apply that to the min. Bars/Lounges, a lot at PH, Cosmo, Aria, Bellagio you can hit.

IM busy planning my own Bachelor party for March. In respect to hotels, it really depends on your budget. Yeah Cosmo is going to come recommended, but it is one of the swankiest/best hotels currently and you'll pay for it.

So if budget is no concern I would stay at either 1) Cosmo 2) Wynn/Encore 3) MGM Skylofts.

If you have a mid-size budget and prefer a suite of sorts, I'd look into the Hilton Elara or the MGM Signature, both are on-strip (for the most part and good size/cost ratio - just no casino in hotel.

If you have a lower end budget, I would recommend two different options - a hotel like Harrah's, Bally's, or Flamingo (exlclude Quad and Riviera) or renting a private residence (which is likely the route I am going). A prviate residnce will have cab fares, but you can get more sleeping arrangements per cost and a better community living room spaces w here some include pools/spas/pool tables, etc. VRBO.com or airbnb.com are two sites you can look for private residences that aren't just scam city like craigslist.
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

      Planning
      2014 - March 13-16 - Bachelor Party
      2014 - June 5th - 9th (maybe) - Big 30.

The other dope spots Aria Sky Villas, and if you do Hard Rock they have these Spa Villas, they are ridiculous. They are behind the Spa desk near Vanity, no one even knows they are there.

Thank you everyone for the help! I would really like to try and hold off and find a good rate at the Cosmopolitan but if not the HR Spa Villas might be a very good alternative.
Next Question... can anyone give me the main differences between pool parties... Im thinking were gonna hit at least one if not two. Would like to know what kind of crowd/vibe/music/and prices would be at each... and most importantly, which is usually a good time.

For pricing you'll get a better feel in April, what hosts will be working where, etc. along with who will be where on the properties' websites and by following on JC.

May want to look through the 2013 pool section on here to get an idea of what pricing was this past year. Odds are the same or a bump up. EDM/dance music will be pretty much the norm at the pools.

Liquid, Tao Beach and Rehab have more open format days than the others. For the dates you are going the best party will be wherever the JC crew is for the invasion. Marquee day club, encore beach cub, daylight and wet republic are the top of the heap.
