What do you usually say if you don't want a dance?

Sometimes some girls get pissy if you don't want a dance even when you tell them nicely.

i would just tell them that you're good for the time being, basically no thanks. be respectful. that should be it. any attitude problems are not your concern. that's something they have to deal with.

they get told no hundreds of times a day. just say 'thanks, but i'm good right now'. if she asks again, say you just got a dance and are taking it easy for a bit. their job is to get you to say yes, so you can't blame them for trying, but being cordial but direct is your best bet. and if she has an attitude, just blow it off and don't think about it again. you didn't hurt her feelings, and you have no obligation to give her money anyway, so who cares.

I think ***** nailed it: "I'm good for now" is probably the best thing you can say to a dancer.

But moving to the dancefloor thing, anyone have any good ways to turn down girls that are interested in you, but you aren't interested in them?

I tend to just say "nice meeting you.. I better check on my friends -- they're pretty irresponsible.." That way your stock with her / her friends / others that heard you doesn't fall.

Any other choice phrases ?

I originally post this for the intention of strip clubs. But since ocam brought up the dance club. Let's get your answers for both places strip clubs and dance clubs.

For dance floor walking away and say something like "gotta check on my friend"
Only problem is if you are on a table where you actually can't walk away...
But since im brazilian alot of times i've used the "i don't speak english " thing works also

If they get attitude with me (has happened) "Sorry but you're just not what I'm looking for" and just turn away after that.

Careful about being a jerk... I had a buddy who told a dancer he wasn't interested in getting dances from "chicks with dicks" which threw her into a rampage, trumping up some made up story that got him escorted not so politely from the club.

For dance floor girls- never say no. Lower your standards and raise your average. Or tell her that your pimp doesn't allow you to dance with girls unless they buy shots for all of your friends.
