  • Gun Range?

Not a bach party but similar, may be entertaining clients and thought this could be fun, different and inexpensive (compared to other Vegas activities of course...)

I've heard there are fun gun ranges with all sorts of crazy guns.
If I had a group of 6 people and wanted to be picked up (preferably in Limo) driven there and back and then hang out shooting all sorts of guns how long would I need?
Would I be able to schedule it same day (or 1 day notice)?
    Any idea of cost?

If anyone has a good person to speak to would appreciate it.

You can definitely have some fun at a few of the gun ranges in Vegas. I went to a place called The Las Vegas Gun Store and bought a package to shoot 3 full auto's. Cost was alittle under $300 for the bare minimum of ammo. There was a line, but I don't think they would have any problem getting a half dozen in and on the range, you may have to wait for a weapon to come available if it is already in use on the range. Again, it was more expensive than I planned but cheaper than buying my own transferable class III.

A friend of mine was telling me about a new range called Battlefield Vegas and they said they have probably the best selection of guns at this time. Let us know what you end up doing.

Thanks SuperDave, I'm trying to find something that will be fun and memorable to do with my clients (30-40 year old guys) and would like to keep the whole experience under 2k...any other suggestions?

I've looked into Machine Gun Vegas recently. Looks good to me
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

I would check out the different range's websites before going and see if they offer what you are looking for. From what it looks like they all offer similar package rates but you can rent individual weapons to make your own package if you want. I personally would recommend going to a range that has the best selection of belt fed machine guns you think are cool and rent a couple of those but buy each guy a few hundred rounds of ammo. Let that be the coup de gras but start out with a few more tame weapons like a couple of popular handguns or rifles then work your way into shooting something bigger. If some of the guys aren't familiar with firearms or alittle nervous around weapons this will help them loosen up and you could always make a fun competition out of it.

Do they often have special offers or deals at these places?

Not sure about any special pricing, I'm sure they offer some kind of deals but not sure where to find them. I have seen them advertised in those little tourist magazines you get in the cabs, so there might be a coupon or something. I would check out the different web sites and maybe make a phone call to compare pricing or see if they can help you put together a special package for your group. I know quite a bit about the firearms industry and even with their extensive inventory of class III, with what most of these places are charging they are making a a good profit % for every time a trigger is pulled. Therefore I would imagine they have some wiggle room if they are willing to work with you.

I was just at Battlefield Vegas. They pick you up in a metal open-air no-air-conditioning humvee. It was was brutal taking the ride on it this weekend. Hot ride aside, it was a lot of fun. No waiting to get on the line at 1pm. Lots of different guns and the SROs weren't rushing us to take our shots and be done. That's something that's happened to me at TheLasVegasGunStore and MachineGunVegas. =(

Anyway, big selection of guns, you can do a package and/or a la carte. You can just show up or call 30 minutes in advance for a pickup from your casino/hotel.
