    Comp Limo Tip?!

    Hi!

    We're from the UK where tipping is nothing like in the USA so my question is...

    How much (total price) do a group of 7 guys need to tip the comp limo for somewhere like Sapphire or Rhino?

      my hosts says to never do more than $20

                Total noob question, but if you tip the driver extra, will they drive you back afterwards?

                    Yes, I am. If I can get a limo ride back to the strip for around the same tip, that would be great! If not, taxi it is, I guess.

                      most likely taxi, you'll see limos out front when you're ready to leave but it'll cost more then just taking a taxi back

                          Thank you! Seems pretty cheap for a group of 7 guys for transport and entry. (works out as $3 each)

                          But yeh, we'll spend a little more inside i'm sure... Tipping is such a minefield in USA. I don't want to offend anyone when tipping but dont want to get ripped off either!

                            Simple rule for tipping. Whatever your total is move the decimal one place to the left and double it. If you're within a few dollars of that either way then you're fine.

                            Example: Total Cost = $140.00
                            Tip Amount = $14.00 x 2 = $28.00 ($25 is fine, $30 is fine)
