My Bachelor Party - May 16-20

So I went in with two feet several months back and decided to get married. After planning and organising the past 3 Vegas trips for other people it seemed only logical to hold my own bachelor (stag) party in Vegas. The only downside being I'm the one who has organised the last trips, knows the contacts and thus am ending up doing the grunt work for my own! On the plus side...most hosts are top blokes and easy to deal with anyway.

10 guys, most of whom are either married, long term girlfriends or getting married (me). So I'm guessing the amount of debauchery is going to be limited to the 2 single fellas! We're staying at the MGM given we've previously experience Venetian (x2) and Encore so fancied venturing down to the end of the strip where all the excitement seems to be at the moment.

So what's the plan?
Thursday 16
Option 1: Hakkasan (most likely to be pavilion)
Option 2: Tao (main room - too large a group for moat apparently) or Tryst (main room - try and get a bottle deal)

Option 2 is in the event option 1 becomes stupidly expensive!

Friday 17
Daytime: Tao Beach (cabana or corner sofa)
Evening: Light (mezz or tier 3)

Saturday 18
Daytime: Walk ins to Wet for those who can stomach it. For the others a chance to relax before the carnage ensues
Evening: 1 Oak (main room)

Sunday 19
Daytime: EBC (daybed most likely)
Evening: XS Nightswim (not sure what the best location option would be here)

Monday 20
Buffet, feel like death, fly home!

So, wise people of the forum...what are your thoughts? We don't really care massively for the music and aren't ones who want to be sat in front of the DJ to catch a glimpse...happy with EDM/open format in equal measure and really just looking for tables with good foot fall which usually equates to plenty of banter! 1 Oak seemed logical to mix things up in the middle plus bottle deals mean even if a few guys flag we'll still be good on the min.

I know it's May Invasion the same weekend and would be more than happy to meet up with whoever is in town and share a drink but given I'm the only JC'er I'm keeping things separate table wise.

I really like that plan - hardly any feedback to give. I'm sure you'll do a strip club and good (steak) dinner in there somewhere.

Re XS Nightswim, nighthawk told me that the better tables are on the cabana side (i.e. left hand side as you face the stage).

Thanks ocam...good to hear! I'm guessing stripclub will flow into somewhere but leaving the non-club related activities to the other boys to arrange!

Sounds like a great plan. I just did a walkthrough of Light (im a host there) and it was jaw dropping! EBC is also a great choice, its my favorite pool party in the city.

Also good call on 1oak if you want something alittle different, they play lots of "open format"

Now that Light is closed it looks like we're going to end up at Marquee on Friday which Noah has happily helped to set up.

Couple of questions...would you switch 1 Oak to Thurs, XS to Saturday and then have somewhere like Bank on Sunday?

Also...has anybody ever had issues once you get to the door with 10 guys in the group? Or are these issues usually resolved by early arrival??

I'd swap 1OAK to Friday and do Diplo @ Surrender on Saturday. On a spectrum of hiphop to EDM, Diplo probably sits on the middle, which works well for your music taste.

Hmm interesting. We enjoyed Surrender last time but as we did EBC it obviously felt like we were in the same place twice which we wanted to avoid this time.

Marquee we were thinking about the patio. Tbh...the DJ draw isn't something we're bothered about. Usually gets to a point where we're too smashed to give a fck what the DJ is spinning! As long as the crowd is vibing it's usually good

Can't really go wrong with any of your lineups. I'd probably do (to throw another spanner in the works):

Sat - 1OAK

Haha another spanner indeed although the main change from the original is just putting Hakk on Fri. We've decided to ditch XS nightswim on the basis we're doing two other pool parties whilst out there...TB and EBC. Not sure I fancy being in swimwear all day on sunday.

Hakk prices have put me off, for 10 guys there's no way we're paying 4k min to be inside and the reviews have put me off.

Ocam...on a separate note you really are a legend across all these board. I tip my hat to you!

It's ok but not as good as Fri/Sat/Tues. You can get a good deal though because of that.

I'd say do it Fri or Sat (and XS on the other one), then Tao, Tryst or Haze on Thursday.

For Sunday, Bank or Hakk (prices on Sun at Hakk are more reasonable to compete with XS Nightswim)

Thurs
Tao (1500 min - standard table) or Tryst (3 bottle min on the goose+moet deal so approx 1200 - hopefully inside)

Fri
Tao Beach (1500 min grand cabana)
1 Oak (B3G1 for good main room spot) or Marquee (1500 min on the pool deck)

Sat
XS (3k min backwall + handshake (amount tbd))

Sun
EBC (1500 beach couch for 6 which means 4 presales)
Bank (min TBC) - who is the main man for Bank these days?

Does this plan and these numbers stack up well for an epic stag weekend??
