  • Ideas for Bachelor Party

We got a group of 10 to 12 guys going to Vegas for my brother's bachelor party on Thursday May 9/13- Tuesday May 14/13. We got nothing planned so far except a club crawl on the Friday night.
Just looking to get some ideas for a good nightclub to get bottle service at on the Saturday (probably looking to spend $200-$300 each on bottle service) and day club to hit for Sunday afternoon. We also get in around 10PM on the Thursday and are looking for some ideas for a good gentleman's club to hit up once we are checked in and are open to bottle service as well.

Would love to hear any suggestions and get some contacts if someone can help.

what sort of music are you guys into?
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

We got a good variety of people that are into electronic/dance, Hip/Hop, or Top 40.

Well, basically you would want a minimum of $2k for those people:

$2k min + $160 tax + $400 autograt + $200-300 host tip + $50-100 security tip + $20-30 busboy tip = $2830-$2990 (I'd probably go to the upper range of those tips since you have such a large group).

That could get you around 3-4 bottles depending on where you go.

On the Saturday, you have the following EDM events:
        Porter Robinson @ Surrender
        Afrojack @ XS
        Arty @ Marquee
        Zedd + Clockwork @ Light
        (someone) @ Hakkasan.

On your budget, your best bet for EDM would be Surrender or XS (maybe inside).

If you wanted to go the open format route (i.e. hiphop/top40), you would be able to land a B2G1 or B3G1 at 1OAK through Joey Orr.

EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

I would strongly reccommend Spearamint Rhino on Thursday night when you get in. I have never had a bad time there and found the talent better than Sapphires and OG's

The bachelor party planning traditionally falls to the best man, but it can also be handled by the groom's brother or another good friend. All the guys in the wedding party get an invite, but it can also include other close friends and family; just ask the groom to put together a guest list.Whatever you do, don't plan the bachelor party the night before the wedding. That's usually reserved for the rehearsal dinner, and besides, hangovers and getting hitched don't mix. If you must , you could consider doing it the night before the rehearsal dinner, but it's generally much better to hold it at least a week and up to three months prior to the big day.

Yeah. I actually stumbled across this site thinking about my own bachelor party, next March (far out, I know). I understand it's not traditional, but my best man isn't the best organizer or planner nor money manager. I'd be worried he'd organize something different than what I would have in mind or keep the per person budget too low. He would be offended if I handed this duty to someone else (as he should be), so I am putting the ball in my court getting the budgets/activities together for him to finalize as it gets closer.

One big hint: collect the money up front. Devise a budget that includes everything you want to do as a group (including the hotel) and have one, responsible guy, be the money man.

For example, I have some friends on a much smaller budget than others, so I am trying to plan on around $400.00 per person. Included in that would be $60ish of that to a GA pool party, $220ish to sat night BS at a 1.5 club, $60 for hotel room, $30, $25 for in-room booze. Collect the $400 bucks at the beginning with each person knowing food and extra alcohol would be separate.

I was at a bachelor party once, similar to this, and one of the guys expected all food and extra drinks to be included ...lol. He was like "man you guys got all my money...how do I eat" we all lol'd. Sadly, you need to be clear on what the money covers. Not everyone has the same background nor even know each other in the groom's group, so full-disclosure is best bet IMO.

If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

              Planning
              2014 - March 13-16 - Bachelor Party
              2014 - June 5th - 9th (maybe) - Big 30.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I guess I should have disclosed that I am the best man. Anyone have any suggestions for a pool party to hit up on the Sunday?

I'm also going to be in Vegas during the same weekend for a bachelor party. Here's what I have planned for 7 guys coming from Canada:

Thursday - Spearmint Rhino (B2G1) through Alan Chang
Friday - Encore Beach Club (Beach Couch) through Anthony K
Saturday - TAO 2 bottle min. in main room through Chris Traer

I have to say that Chris and Anthony have been great with accommodating my group and all my demands.

PM if you have questions or need host contact or even if you wanna share a drink at Spearmint Rhino on May 9

                        May 2013 - I'm coming back baby!

This is what we got planned now:

Thursday - Spearmint Rhino (Bottle Service B2G1)
Friday - Club Crawl (1OAK, Body English, Pure)
Saturday - Haze or 1OAK (Bottle Service B3G1)
Sunday - Encore (VIP presale passes), XS (Bottle service-4 goose for $1200)

Still undecided between Haze or 1OAK on Saturday but leaning towards Haze since we are stopping at 1OAK on Friday
                            Thanks for the help everyone.

Can I ask what your minimum is for Spearment Rhino on Thursday (B2G1)?

I'm coming in May 31-June 3 and my lineup is looking similar to yours.
