bachelor party - all first timers. not much clue

hello all... thanks for the help. i am reading all the post. but would like ideas.
none of us have been to Vegas before. so we haven't a clue.

we land on 26th of April at 9:30 PM and depart 28th at 6:30 PM

we are staying at the Venetian Resort Hotel. once checked in... What can we do friday night. after 10:30 PM.
Eight of us in total.

Saturday night we booked the X BURLESQUE. what can we do before and after.

For the clubs, we called a few promoters - everyone is saying they can't take us in. since its all males. they need women crowd as well. I don't understand, how everyone celebrates bachelor parties there. if its hard to get in.

Any suggestions? how about stripclubs. etc etc. help please. do we need to get those VIP host packages or ?
we dont mind payin for the bottle service. where and how to start. Thanks all.

Not sure what type of promoters you have called but even with 8 guys you should not have a problem to get in if you want to do bottle service, you just need to be willing to spend. If you have a budget in mind, you can contact the actual hosts at the clubs (don't do outside promoters) you are interested in and see what they can do for you. You can find a list of hosts on the front page or look in the host appreciation thread in this forum for advice.

You can also post your approximate budget here and we can give you advice what you would be able to get with that.

What kind of music do you like (electronic/dance or hiphop/top40)? That way I can give you some suggestions for your dates.

To book bottle service, you will just need to contact a host (text preferred) to arrange it. There are a number of hosts for each venue recommended on these forums.

First let me know your music preference and I will give you some recommended clubs and hosts there.

Also, you guys should check out a pool party while you are in Vegas. I'm travelling at the moment so will be a few hours before I can give you a more in-depth response.

budget wise we are looking at $350 to $400 per person for two nights. (8 ppl total) lets say $3000 total

music wise we prefer electronic/dance. from your suggestions i think i will starting looking into contacting the hosts directly.

As you are all first-timers, here's a quick recommendation, especially if you are on a tight budget:

The general rule of thumb is one bottle per 3 guys (which is would typically be 3 Seats per 1 Bottle). On the cheap end bottles are around $500 (Grey Goose is $495 many places) + 28-38% tax and auto-gratuity. So, to help a tight budget, you could do 2 bottles (which would be for 6 guys/seats) and then add 2 more as presale tickets. Obviously there would be less alcohol to go around, but you can always buy more.

For example, I put together a matrix for potential headcount amount of bottles (at the 495/bottle + price point). Considering 2 bottles, + 2 presale tickets, + 250 additional tip to host/security/runner you'd be looking at $1,600.00 total, $200 each guy.,

Additionally you could up the ante by a bottle and get 3+ bottles (which would cover up to 9 males/seats) 3 Bottles (plus auto tax/gratuity and $250 added tip): $2,150.00, $240 each guy

Please keep in mind, $250 in added tip is pretty conservative. Many here recommend $100 per bottle and another $50-100 to security and $20 to runner. The better you tip the host, the better table location you can get. The better you tip the security the more likely they are to help you out later in the more drunken part of the night.

I'm not expert, but I do put together a nice spreadsheet after collecting and living vicariously through these guys lol. Even then IMO the bottle service is way worth it even at this steep price point considering most drinks are $15+. The only way to combat that is a heavy pre-game, but I don't really know how to stop so usually end up not making the whole night that way.

On a weekend trip, I like to hit one night hard and then lower key on the second night. For example, one trip we arrived on Friday - had a quick meal, went to the Irish bar in NYNY for appetizers and then headed to a S.C. After that we hit up a tier 2 club (Pure) and with a little grease/tip didn't have to wait in any line around 1 AM. On Saturday we did the strip thing and then did bottle service at a 1.5 club (Tryst).

Depends on what clubs you want to go to. A decent guideline is one bottle per 3 guys, so you'll be looking at 3 bottles at most places, which relates to a $1,500 to $2,000 minimum depening on club, after tax and tips you'll be anywhere between $2,000-$3,000 for one night. But if you go to a Tier 2 club you might be able to get a better offer. You could also see if you can get a table for 4 with a lower minimum and have the other 4 come in through pre-sale tickets and then join you at the table.

I'm interested to know what you used as your variables for your matrix - in particular what you did with the host tip (cos sometimes mins can be reduced with a solid handshake, so a constant tip @ $75 per bottle wouldn't really be accurate)

I just used a base tip of $250 (obviously that's subject to change per bottle and if you want a better location). My only real variables at the moment are headcount + bottles (base $495 + 28% + 250 tip) to get price per bottle per person.

I understand the minimums can be reduced, but you can't really reduce the price per bottle (unless you get B2g1, b1g1). Unless I am mistaken.
