Memorial Day Weekend - Canadians

Hi all:

I am hosting my good friends bachelor party May 23rd - 26th. I've been to Vegas before but thought I would ask some expert opinions on the hot places to be and recommendations.

We will be about 7-9 peeps from Montreal. Staying at palazzo or Cosmo( have not decide yet). Planning on spending about 800/head for day and night activities (let me know if below activities can be done right with this budget!)

Get in around 10pm on the 23rd - thinking low key, maybe strip joint - any deals out there?

May 24th - low key pool party but good vibe and music... club at night? ( table of course)

May 25th - thinking encore beach club? Cabana...and then a table for Saturday night? Any good DJ signed up?

Any additional thoughts or people I can contact to help make it happen? Would like to lock it down soon since I heard Memorial Day is pretty darn busy.

MDW is busier (and therefore more expensive for tables) than non-holiday weekends. With a group of that size, you will need a decent sized table at night (probably requiring a minimum of at least $3.5k excluding taxes and tips) and a daybed during the day.

What kind of music do you like? If you like EDM rather than hiphop, then your "Tier 1" night options are Light, Hakkasan, XS and Marquee. During the day, you have Daylight (which will be opening that weekend), Wet Republic, Encore Beach Club and Marquee Dayclub.

May 23: Strip club.

Go to Spearmint Rhino for the best girls - try Jim Jarrell (702-556-8803) or Rob Harrower (623-853-3214) who I think are still there.
If you want a deal, Sophie at OGs ([email protected] or 626-806-3916) can probably hook you up with a b1g1 with bottles starting around $350.

May 24:
Day - it's MDW, so everything will be busy. If you don't want to go to one of the "big" pool parties (i.e. Daylight, EBC, MDC or WR), then I'd suggest you give Liquid @ Aria a try. Get in contact with Isaac Kaz Curry 702.900.6755. For a group of your size, it might be worth getting a daybed with a low minimum which you will probably get through by having a few drinks each and eating lunch. Also, it gives you a place to sit and relax.

Night - Of the Tier 1s, only XS and Marquee have released their lineup so far (Avicii will be at XS and Armin van Buuren will be at Marquee). I think you should wait until Light and Hakkasan announce their DJs for that night. Personally, I would opt for Eric Prydz at Surrender that night, but that's purely personal preference because I think he is a superb DJ.

May 25:
Day - Steve Angello will be at EBC and Gareth Emery at Marquee Dayclub. No word yet on Wet Republic or who will be at Daylight. If you are set on EBC, go for it - but WR has a very strong lineup now with the Hakkasan tie-in, and Daylight will be BRAND NEW (which translates into a lot of the finest female talent wanting to check it out).

Night - as above. Afrojack is at XS, Kaskade at Marquee. No word from Light/Hakkasan yet. I would probably do Light or Hakkasan over Afrojack/Kaskade...

I would just add that-
Light/Daylight- Hakkasan/Wet republic should announce MDW lineups really soon (look at who resident djs are to get an idea)

For Thursday Night:
Hakkasan, Surrender, Tryst and Tao will all be open
They open around 10-11pm and go all night it might be worth checking one of them out.

Strip Clubs are open 24/7 and do Free Limo ride/Free entry but $100 bottle specials run from 11 AM to 8 PM.

If your planning on a big party weekend- Thursday night, Friday pool, Friday night, Saturday pool, Saturday night
you might think of booking a cheap hotel because your going to spend very little time in the room!!

Appreciate the input - We are into EDM over hip hop. Sounds like "Liquid" on Friday and "Daylight" on Saturday will work for the day..Any thoughts on "Tao beach" for Friday?

Will look into Surrender for Friday night and Hakkassan for Sat.

Tao Beach usually gets some big EDM DJs during MDW so it would be a good choice for a smaller venue.

Tao beach is a interesting one if they get a good dj there could be alot of fun.
