  • Bachelor Party - May 31 to June 2: NEED SOME HELP!

I'm organizing a bachelor party in Vegas from May 31, 2013 - June 2, 2013 and need some help with the details. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

First thing I need is a good place to stay. We will have 15-18 guys so I'm probably looking at getting a ridiculous suite for as many people as it can fit, and then regular rooms for the rest of the guys. Any recommendations? I've heard of the MGM Skyloft and checked it out online, and I've also heard that Caesar's has a 6-bedroom suite?

Secondly, any ideas on deals and cool stuff to do would be great. We're obviously going to do the standard stuff: stripclubs, bottle service, group dinner, etc. but would like to do something out of the ordinary like golfing, gun-range, or atv-ing? Thoughts?

Finally, if anybody has any hookups or people to refer that could possibly hookup some deals, that would be tremendous! Everyone in the group is going to have a good amount of cash, but we're pretty much going to make the party wherever we go so we're not set on just going to the "cool" clubs (Marquee, Surrender, etc.) A place with a good deal could easily sway us to their party.

Once again, thank you for any help you can provide and if you're going to be in Vegas that weekend, feel free to hit me up and join the party!

    Few basics:

That time of year.. get a cabana at a pool party for one day. Plan on $4000-8000 min spend for that many guys...depending on the party. That will get you 8-16 bottles of booze. Then add Tax + 20% Tip + several hundred tip to your host, $50 tip to security, etc. For the hot pools on certain days, read these forums.

Gun range is supposed to be fun. Haven't been.

Clubs... again with a group that size expect to have to get at least one bottle ($500) Per 3 guys at most clubs so you're looking at no less than 2500-3000 min spend, with most good clubs or better tables likely having a higher min spend for that size group. For clubs, go ahead and budget an additional 50% on top for host tips, Tax, server tips, security tips, etc. For the hot clubs on certain nights, read these forums.

Strip Clubs... it seems you want to go with Spearmint Rhino. Call the host, arrange for limo pickup, bypass line/cover, and get a private section. Again, bottles should be bought but aren't as much of a sticking point. Assume 3-4 bottles at least as a good starting point at 400ish per. You can likely negotiate to get one free.

To pick a host... look on the menu on this site above to get the contact number/email for the appropriate host. Be careful about assuming clubs WANT to "Sway you" to come to their party... attractive women are what clubs WANT to sway to their party. There are no shortage of guys trying to get into any club on any given night. A group of guys that size should likely plan on HAVING to buy bottle service to get everyone into any good club without waiting in LONG lines.

First of all, welcome a fellow socal member! And luckily you're going on the weekend after memorial day weekend which should save you a pretty penny on the bigger bottle minimums. Everything msavard said is pretty on point on how you should handle this situation.

      Rooms:

Depending on your budget considering there are a good number of guys a skyloft would be a nice place to call headquarter for everyone to meet at and pregame before heading out. They do run you $2k+/night depending on the weekend and if there is an event/high rollers in town. Another great place you would probably like is Cosmopolitan. It's a lot cheaper than a skyloft, a bit smaller but can easily entertain 15 guys but probably won't sleep more than 5. Not sure on how many you can fit into a skyloft, maybe someone else can comment on that. Caesar's i believe does have a 4-6 bedroom suite but it's probably at a ridiculous price so if you have the budget for it, go for it!

You could also look at Venetian/Palazzo, I like staying there especially with a big group cause all their rooms are suites and each room can easily 5-6 guys in a bella suite depending on sleeping situations and you guys could go for the lago 2 bedroom suite as the main room and get bella suites for the rest and it's very affordable for the bella suites.

      Activities:

If you guys are into cars, there's the las vegas speedway that hosts a bunch of exotics cars you can drive around the track as a day time activity. Here's the website you can take a look at pricing and cars available: http://www.exoticsracing.com/

There are a couple of shooting ranges available, never been myself but I've heard they're pretty popular in Vegas but nothing you can't find here in socal. Plus I think the bullets costs less in socal then it does in Vegas. There's also a golf course at the Wynn/Encore.
Should be enough to keep you guys busy considering all the dayclubs that'll be open which I'd prefer you make a priority over the activities.

For the host situation, I would figure out which clubs you want to do bottle service at and go from there. You still have a couple months before it's necessary to contact them and make reservations. That should be done probably 2-3 weeks before you arrive. Definitely check out the list on the main page and also the threads and there should be more than enough information on who are recommended from the members. There are a couple of new clubs opening up this spring and you could probably find a good deal with one of the hosts that are active on the forums and go from there. Definitely consider the tier 2 clubs too (1OAK, Haze, Tryst, Pure etc..) if a good deal can sway you to party there for a night cause those are the clubs you'll probably get a better deal and better table at.
2013 Calendar: March 20-21 (Treasure Island). May 24-27 (Cosmopolitan). June 23-25 (Mirage). July 18-22 (Cosmopolitan).
      Next Trips: RETIRED.

I am a VIP host for OG and I would love to help you plan a fun night! You can do a buy 2 get 2 bottle special of equal or lessor value! Includes a free limo pick up ,no line wait, admission, a reserved private booth, and 4 bottles of alcohol with mixers, they start at 350 and there is an 18 percent gratuity added at the time of purchase which goes to your waitress! You can email me [email protected] or call me at 626 806 3916. Just a tip the usual free limo and cover is not good for that size group bc you need reserved seating or you would be spread out throughout the club! Good luck !
I'll vouch for Sophie being a great contact. I am in the process of planning a Bachelor party as well (trying to keep it smaller...8 guys in July) and she's been very responsive/helpful via email. Definitely talk to her when planning the shake-joint portion of your bachelor party.

Nighthawk, thanks for the advice on the activities. The exotic car racing sounds legit, but I dunno if everyone will remain sober enough to drive cars. I'll talk about it to the group and see what they think. Also great advice on the rooms. I was thinking about Venetian as well because I know they have a lot of adjoining rooms. I'll look into it, thanks again!

Ive called SR for free limo/cover pick up at 2am for 20 guys. They sent 2 limo buses within 30mins. My group didnt want bottles, so I tipped the manager and he created a spot for us. Generally, seating is only an issue after 10pm on a normal weekend from my experience.

I've been to MGV, shooting range/lounge, Awesome! They have themed gun packages that are really cool, (desert storm, ww1, etc..) Hot girls working there, cool, nice, new lounge area and they will pick you up for free. Check it out online. It's also close to strip. Definitiely do the pools! For clubs, if there's one in particular, contact a host there, but from there if there's any other clubs see if he has a host he works with our recommends. Get a budget, have fun.

The one thing about rooms, a lot of guys are never there when they go hard. I'm not sure about spending too much, but I understand you want something comfortable. I just wouldn't go over the top because you're goin to be partying in the casino, clubs, sleeping with some randoms room you just met, etc.... most of the 24 hrs of the day.

I've got this lined up for my trip in August - http://machinegunsvegas.com/packages/cod/

Though I'd love to add the Desert Eagle .50
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Thank you kazflair, Great reco on the rooms! Yeah I think I have the gentlemen's club covered but it's impossible to find a good deal on rooms. Everywhere I call I'm pretty much getting the website rates and nothing too special.

                          Elara

If you are looking for the best place for that many people to stay. I would look at Elara. You could get three 4 bedroom suites for the price of the sky lofts at MGM.
