  • Good Cigar Bars?

We're going to be in Vegas next week for NYE. I wanted to treat the fellas of our group to a good cigar and some killer whiskies but I don't really know a good place in Vegas (there are loads).

To be honest, I'm fairly young and don't know anything about cigars, but some of the group have expressed an interest so I'm asking around.

Can you suggest a place that you've actually been to? Some place with low lighting, chilled out atmosphere, relaxed and friendly to newcomers.

We're staying at the Venetian so some place close would be great. I know there is a cigar shop there but don't know if they allow you to smoke there? I don't think they'll serve drinks either.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers guys

Spent some time with the boys in Casa Fuente in the Forum Shops at Caesars. It's a nice little place with a big selection of Cigars, and equally good selection of Scotch and Cognac, served up by good lookin gals. They'll help you pick out a cigar too if you're not real familiar.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

You'd have to buy the cigars in advance (and I second Chuck's suggestion for Casa Fuente), but if you really want killer whiskies, consider checking whether the Whisky Attic is available. I've been to a couple bachelor parties there, and the place is really top-notch if you're into whisky.

Cheers guys, Casa Fuente sounsd like just what I'm looking for. Also the Whisky Attic sounds good too, may do an early evening stopover there if I can, but the only problem is we'll all be wasted too quickly! Thanks all

You could buy some top cigars online in advance (like Cohiba, Playboy by Don Diego, or Montecristo at jrcigars.com) and take them to Spearmint Rhino for whisky. They will send a free limo, and you take a cab back.
