I wouldnt risk it. If someone comes up to you asking if you would like to purchase, they are either undercover cops or will try and rob you. Just a thought because the latter happened to a friend of mine.

no joke, in 2005, i went to vegas with a few friends that like to smoke pot. so they were new to vegas and they met a guy by a bustop near circus circus and he offered to sell them some. they ended up buying a ziplock bag full and it was oregano! seriously, a whole bag of oregano. so stupid.

Don't buy off the street, you will be getting ripped. My advice is to look for a young limo driver pay him for a ride somewhere and he'll either hook you up or be able to point you in the right direction. It's costly but safe.

No, I mean you might get the odd one that just happens to know but your better off going with the Limo drivers. If you don't want to do that then cab drivers could probably help you out as well. If you go the cabbie route make sure you give him a finders fee.
