  • 1st Time Planning Bachelorette Party, Need Help

    Hello!

I just came back from an awesome week in Vegas! Prior to this trip, I learned about promoters for the first time and used them extensively for free club entry and open bar for ladies.

Now, I'm trying to plan a bachelorette party for my friend in a few months. Unfortunately, promoters probably won't fly this time around because of the following:
-My friend wants to go to classy, not trashy places, that are more laid back
-She wants a place where the music is not too loud
-My friend isn't much of a dancer and thinks clubs are silly (we're in our early 30s, and she's more mature and less of a partier than me)
-She'll probably want somewhere not too crowded where we can sit down and chill
    -Once again, classy is key

While I was in Vegas, I went to Marquee, Drai's, and Chateau. Of the three, I think my friend would probably like the quieter rooftop seating area of Chateau with the view of the Eiffel Tower. So basically, unless my friend is okay with standing around, we'll probably pay for bottle service instead of getting open bar wristbands from a promoter.

I'm hoping you guys could offer recommendations for classier places along the strip my friend would enjoy, along with an estimate on how much we should expect to spend. Would be it a good idea to keep contact with the promoters I used this week in hopes they can cut us a deal? It's also a long shot, but if there are any classy male revue, please let me know as well.

We've also been looking at planning sites like this: http://www.bachelorettevegas.com/. Would you recommend them?

Thank you so much! This is my first time planning a Vegas bachelorette party, and I'm not sure where to start!

I can't give exact dates yet, but it'll definitely be in the summer and on a weekend (Friday-Monday).

Based on your requirements for a classy establishment, perhaps having drinks at a nice restaurant is the way to go.

There are also nice casino bars, such as the Chandelier bar in Cosmopolitan. Other upscale hotels are Encore, Wynn and Aria - these all have classy bars.

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Based on the wife appreciation meter and she also did her bachelorette party out there definitely Chandelier Bar at Cosmo and both Parasol Bars at the Wynn. She said the 3rd floor of the Chandelier was fun also drink wise as they use more flowery flavors in their drinks which made them unique.

        Hope this helps.

I did my bachelorette in Vegas too. The Wynn is always a safe bet. I also agree with the post about Parasol Bar and the Chandelier Bar. I like the party part of Vegas too. I do not know what your budget is. A friend of mine kind of sounds like your friend so I kept her in mind when I typed this.

          Maybe a plan like this:

          Friday:
          Arrive and settle in.
Walk the strip and gamble a little.
Minus 5 Bar at Mandalay Bay ( not exactly super classy, but always fun and quick)
Dinner at Giada's http://www.yelp.com/biz/giada-las-vegas or Rabbit. Rose. Lie. http://www.yelp.com/biz/rose-rabbit-lie-las-vegas
Drinks at Chandelier Bar, Bond, Vesper ( All at Cosmo)

          Saturday:
          Brunch at Wicked Spoon
          Pool at hotel or spa
Pre dinner drinks at Mandarin Bar http://www.mandarinoriental.com/lasv.../mandarin-bar/
          Dinner at Bouchon http://www.thomaskeller.com/las-vega...chon-las-vegas
Drinks at Parasol Bar, Hyde, Lily

          Sunday:
          Tabelau for Brunch
Encore Beach Club Pool Party or visit downtown
          Dinner at Sugar Factory

          Monday:
          Walk the strip
          The Linq
          Depart
