53 yo looks 43, flying solo 6/17

I am a 53 year old male and will be traveling to Las Vegas June 17 -22. I am ending a 25 year marriage and want to have a good time in Vegas. I am in shape and do CrossFit and loves to listen to good music and dance. Most women say i look like I am in my late 30's or early 40's. Any advice would be appreciated.

Its edc weekend- electric daisy carnival which is a dance music festival that attracts 140,000 party people to vegas!

EDC is a three day event friday, saturday, sunday nights and goes from dusk to dawn. Its a $300ish dollar ticket for all three days and you need to either drive out or get a a shuttle pass.
That said the parties around the event are also very good see above link.
I would start off with
6/17 wet at night pool party
6/18 ebc dj snake
6/18 xs avicii
then see what you want to do for the rest of the weekend.
To help you plan
nightclubs open around 11pm with headline dj on around 1am going till around 5am
pool parties open around 11am with headline dj on around 3pm going till around 6pm
For just one guy you want to buy a presale ticket on the venues website.
For stripclubs all do free limo and free entry and are open 24/7 the pool parties/nightclubs are excellent so do strip clubs around them.

I will just chime in here to reiterate that you picked the biggest party weekend of the entire year to come to vegas, oh boy! If you're worried about rolling solo I highly recommend the get connected section in the forums and linking up with fellow members to get the ball rolling although there will be no shortage of people to meet haha. But I mean as an ice breaker you know.

Lastly don't think that everyone on these forums is a young dove we range all over, if you have any hesitations about linking up with members to hang. No one here really judges or cares, we all just want to have a great time and being able to do it with new friends makes it even better.

You'll be fine. Don't worry about being solo i'm in Vegas by myself on a monthly basis and always have a good time. Be open, don't be scared to approach whomever you have an interest in, and at pool parties etc. being in shape tends to help a great deal (at least in my experience). Agree with the above post, don't worry about the age, it won't matter a bit as long as you know how to have a good time!

Thanks for all the info. I am staying at the Flamingo because I liked the pool there last year. Does any of the big pool parties happen at any of the Harrah's pools?

You can check the link for parties/venues.
These are ticketed events/table service events different then a regular hotel pool.

CET's pools do not compete with EBC, MDC etc. GO Pool to me vs mega pool parties in baseball terms is AA baseball max vs mlb

I'm 45 and caught up with some JC members the last weekend in May for EBC with Zedd and had a great time. I recommend you don't limit yourself and enjoy the trip. Pre sale tickets are the way to go when solo if you don't connect with anyone here on this board.
