Returning to Vegas in early November, 4th time ever.
Live in Sweden and have spent some time in the US, both as a student and as a tourist.
- Came to Vegas as 17 year old(1997), stayed at Circus Circus.... Still amazed by Vegas with all the cool stuff you could do, even as a teenager.
- Returned with my wife to be(2000), stayed at Harrah's, did the "classic tourist"-thing (ate buffet, woke up at 2 am to "see if everything is still open(it was!) and played the slots, video poker and got free "booze", hung out by the pool etc)
- Came back in 2010 with 5 other guys(MGM) - did the "middle aged men go nuts"-tour with bars, clubs, gentlemen's clubs, burgers etc.
And now trying out the "conference participant"-visit. Trying to squeeze in both conferencing and some partying. Or the other way around... Staying at The Cromwell this time.
To me Vegas is the best town ever for pure fun. A Disneyland for grown ups. A place that for 3-5 days is the best place on earth and then you need a reality check before coming back. Too bad it's too far to travel for short weekend trips more often though...
Have gotten so much great stuff from this site and sometimes enjoy just browsing the forum to see other peoples plans/stories etc.
