Hey. I stopped drinking back in April. Just planning a trip to Vegas. Is it going to suck now that I'm not drinking booze? Anyone else go after giving up alcohol?
What is Vegas like when you're no longer drinking?

As long as being around drunk people won't drive you crazy I see no reason why you can't do it big sober.Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I drink, but I once went with a friend who stopped drinking because she realized she had a problem. I didn't push her and she seemed to have fun. It can be done.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Absolutely not! The thing about vegas is there's so much to do! As long as it doesn't bother you to be around places that serve alcohol and people that are drinking you should be fine. Plenty of shows and activity's you can do!Clubs I have visited:
Blush(Closed)
Tryst
Vanity
LAX
Lavo
Pure
XS
More to come in the future(Hopefully!)

The only drawback is that, depending on where you stay & play, you'll be surrounded by drunkards who spit-talk at you about doing your wife or girlfriend... or burst your eardrums with mindless banter. In the golden words of Hunter Thompson, "I was right in the middle of a f***ing reptile zoo, and somebody was giving booze to these goddamn things. Won't be long now before they tear us to shreds."
Best wishes. Some of my fondest Vegas memories are sober.
