  • Heading back to Vegas! Help needed! (Hello!)

    Hi guys!

This is my first post on the forum...

    Hopefully you guys can help!

I've just booked a weekend in Vegas for me and my friends 11th April to 15th April...

Just found out this is the Coachella this weekend.... Have I just screwed myself booking this weekend??

What is Vegas like during the Coachella weekend??

    Thanks!

Vegas will still be Vegas. Caochella isnt going to stop people from coming in all over the world. Only thing Coachella would do is maybe take away a couple artists that would normally perform since they would be at Coachella but I think its a very limited number.
    Vegas...my home away from home

      Vegas has a crowd 24 hours a day/7 days a week /365 days a year
Friday and Saturday's are busiest days of the week and Holiday weekends NYE, MDW, LDW always attract a bigger crowd.
That being said 9 months out is an extremely long time out to book a trip.
      1. make sure whatever you book is refundable if you cancel because any number of things could come up in 9 months.
      2. realize vegas is constantly evolving- new clubs, restaurants, hotels so something that is hot now might not be hot in 9 months and rates policies etc can easily change in 9 months.

Thanks for the info Artedm. Agreed it is very early. The deal was too good to turn down. I'm just glad Coachella wont have too much of an effect on the weekend!

The weekend has been sealed with a small deposit so anything drastic that does happen it's not that big a deal.

        The planning starts in January!

        Thanks people!

I think having Coachella will help things. Typically its events like EDC London or things across the pond that hurts entertainment wise. Its not hard for DJs to pack up and fly right after their set and head to Vegas. Should be a good time.
