Just discovered JC

Hi all, just discovered the site. I'm from Los Angeles, 30, recently married. Been going to Vegas since I turned 21, on average 3-4x/year, although I generally prefer gambling over nightclubs (likely because I've been with my now-wife since I was 22).

Anyway, planning a trip for nearly 20 friends over July 4th and we are researching pool parties and stumbled across JC. Lots to explore!

I'm going with a group that wants to get a little weird, may not be as much time for gambling on this trip. And given the cost of cabanas and bs it's not looking too likely that it will be in the budget either

How are you handling the hotel booking? If you do it right you can earn some major points with the casino group and save everyone some money.

What days will you be there? If you have a couple weekdays in the mix you may be able to work in some VIP at pools or clubs, especially with so many people able to pitch in.

I booked rooms using my mlife account. I noticed a 3k bump in my tier credits as a result (haven't played at any mgm properties in 2013 so it was easy to see). If the bump was only based on the deposit, then I'll earn a ton of credits for all 5 rooms. We are arriving on 7/4, leaving 7/7 and the average cost per night was $156 including tax but before the resort fee. I checked with ***** (thread in the hotel sub-forum) and that rate is lower than what he can get so I think we are in good shape.... however, if you have any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them

We are planning on doing a pool party on Fri 7/5 and a BS on Sat 7/6. Still figuring out specifics of all of that and appreciate any input.
