Early-30s guy from the California Central Coast... Anyway, I’ve been around the Vegas block plenty of times but I always learn something new from this website (or if nothing else I live vicariously through some of the trip reports), so I figured it was time to actually start chatting it up with the good people of JackColton.
Coming out to Nellis for work 14-18 April and figured why not tack on a few extra days of mischief, so I will be on the strip 18-22 April (Thursday night through Monday morning). Still trying to convince one of my buddies—one of the few who can keep up with me in Vegas—to join me but his wife, who thinks I’m a bad influence (and rightfully so!) opposes the idea so we’ll see.
In my heyday, I made it to Vegas once every 2 months, but right now I’m on a cold spell. Haven’t been to the strip in over 6 months (I know… horrors!) so I am seriously jonesing like a MF’er… LOL!
Right now I have no agenda planned; a lot depends on the friend situation. We refuse to stand in line for 2+ hours so that rules out any “Tier 1” nightclubs but it’s okay, I’m too old for that shit anyway—lounges (rooftop and otherwise) and plain ol’ bars are more my style. We did have a room reserved at Wynn but if his balls remain in wifey’s vice grip then I might downgrade to PH or even (gulp) Excalibur/Luxor.
Whatever, it’s just a room. If anyone’s in town 18-22 April hit me up and we’ll down shots at the casino bar and get this party started!!!
