Hello! Vegas Memorial Day Weekend 2013!

Hi everyone I'm Jen!

I'll be in Vegas Memorial Day Weekend for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and I'm PUMPED! It'll be my third time in Vegas and her first so I want to make sure it's a memorable one! The first time I went to Vegas was probably one of the worst trips I've taken ever anywhere. It was the week before Christmas so hardly anything was open but on top of that, the girls I went with were so boring and did not want to go to the few places that were open. They just wanted to sit in the casinos and play slot machines. I will never go anywhere with them again.

The second time I went was February 2010 and it was definitely a blast, went out every night, drank everyday but it was February so...no pools.

I'm really excited to experience the whole pool party scene and rage all night. We're just going Friday-Sunday so we gotta live it up!! Any tips on how to go about things with a group of 12 girls is definitely appreciated!

We're all from Chicago by the way and it's supposed to get up to a balmy 50 degrees this weekend so we will definitely be a little stir crazy and more than ready for some warm weather come end of May.

Welcome to the forums! MDW will be incredibly busy and the weather (should) be great. Make sure you get along to those pool parties.

Definitely see what clubs/dayclubs you want to hit up before you head out there. And what djs are there that weekend if you're into EDM to help make it easier on where the group wants to go. Then contact the hosts to help you with guestlist/bottle service and maybe even a comp bottle somewhere since you have a large group of girls with you. Mention that it's a bachelorette party so they know it's a special occasion for you girls.

Welcome! Definitely see which DJs are playing when you come and you can bounce around. Stick with WET Republic, EBC, Marquee Dayclub. The other pools are more of a lower tier option. 12 girls normally can get free stuff or things much cheaper. I would do a daybed at the pool so you can lay out and have your own space.

getting there thursday staying till monday night of mdw....staying at the mgm planning on hitting wet republic , hakkasan , ebc ,ufc 160 and a few other spots

Five guys from St. Louis here going for a bachelor party (mine!) May 23-26; staying at the Venetian.

This will be my fourth time in Vegas, so I'm certainly no rookie, but it has been a good three years or so since I've been - I'm sure things have changed.

From what I've read, we intend on avoiding the pool parties in lieu of just renting a cabana at the "regular" hotel pool. Memorial Day weekend will be busy enough with all kinds of craziness that we're not sure we feel like sharing the same scummy water with a bunch of mooks for $3k.
