  • Greetings from Vienna/Austria. Planning our trip 11th to 18th of September 2013.

    Hy everybody,

my name is Daniel and I'm a 21 year old guy from Vienna/Austria.
I'm planning a trip for 6-8 guys in september for my 22nd birthday.
All of the guys will be 21 to 24. Me and another one have been to vegas before, but just with our girlfriends and we weren't 21 at this time. the other guys are Vegas or even USA virgins.

I really read a lot on this board and really really appreciate al the good tips from all the vegas specialists.
Because flights from Austria are expensive, we decided to do BS just once. This should be on Friday 13th (OMG...what a date!!)

I think that there will come a lot of questions in the future but let me start with the first one:

Due credit card payment isn't really common in europe i just wanted to ask you how the pyment at BS works.
All the tips will be made cash (thats clear) but I think that one of us has to hand out his CC to the waitress. Am I right? Will we also be able to pay everything cash? We don't want to be looked at curious because of paying cash.

We will stay at HRH the whole week because of the pool and the price. What about REHAB for hotel guests? Will we be able to get in for free? Does the check-in guys have any vouchers for free entries??

Thanks so much for your help
    Daniel

PS: Sorry for my english. It's not the best but I'm working on it till september!!

Hey Daniel, you can pay with cc for a table of course but it isn't required. I've always paid cash when I've done it. I always make sure to have the amount easily accessible so I'm not stubbing around with it when the server is collecting on the bill. So before you go in get everyone to chip in the proper amount and have one person pay for it

Hy Jhaulotte, Thanks for the answer.

I hope everybody of our group feels OK to spent so much money just for one night. If so, we will be able to spend about 2000$ incl. graduity + 200$ handshake + 200$ other tips (bouncer and ice and glas boy) so a total of ~2500$ for that night. Hope we will get a good table and a lot of fun for that on a friday night. We aren't sure yet which club we should go to on friday. Some of us like hip hop most. I really like EDC, so les see. I think it's too early to think about now.

The only thing i don't understand is how it all works with the sides (all kind of juice, red bull,....)! how much is it? is it already included in the bottleprice?

        Hi Daniel.

Some sides ("mixers") will be included - juice, cranberry, orange, cola, lemonade. You will have to pay more for redbull and water.

If you are going to do bottle service for 1 night, then you should do it at a "Tier 1" club which are basically only EDM. You are lucky because 2 new clubs will be open by then - "Light" at Manadalay Bay and "Hakkasan" at MGM.

If I was you, I would look into Light, Hakkasan, XS or Marquee for the Friday. Go to a hiphop place if your friends really want on another night and buy presale tickets to enter.

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

          Hy ocam,

thanks for the answer. Juice included sounds great, so we will order some red bull too.

I would love to go to marquee that special friday, but i'll wait how the other two clubs will be.
What do you think about 2500 to max. 3000$ TOTAL (incl graduity and all tips)? Does that work out for 6 guys?

Are presale tickets a guarantee to get into the club?

For a group of 6 guys you could easily fit that in your budget:

            $1000 minimum (2 bottles) + $80 (sales tax) + $100 (LET tax) + $200 (gratuity) + $100-200 host tip + $50-100 security tip + $30 busboy tip = $1560-1710... so maybe $2000 including some redbulls and some waters

On that basis, you will come in under $3000 even if you bought another bottle.

Presale tickets guarantee entry if you get there before the time stated on the ticket, and the club isn't at capacity.

              Hi Daniel
The DJ/talent lineups will be announced probably around 4/6/8 weeks out.
Its worth checking every clubs lineup to see if someone you recognize/ like is playing. Who is playing will have an effect on the pricing of entry and table prices.

Also worth planning a budget! Realize in Vegas you could "go broke"-spend all your money- at one party! In Vegas you can party/spend money 24 hours a day/7 days a week-pool parties/nightclubs/strip clubs /restaurants/shopping/gambling

Since your coming from so far away you might think about taking a tour or renting a car to the Grand Canyon. Maybe even adding in a car trip to LA-Hollywood- Santa Monica?

As with anything its worth trying before spending a lot of money-go to some clubs on presale tickets before making the table reservation.
