    Hello from London England!

    Hi all

    Been reading thes forum for a while and have found them really useful.

    I've just booked my first trip to Vegas with two friends in August. We have 4 nights at the MGM Grand. No firm plans yet but we will probably do a club one night with bottle service, a strip club, a pool party, and have a really good steak. As well as having a gamble and a good old drink of course! After that we drive to LA and have a week there to recover!

    Really can't wait but also think I need to start saving some serious money!! Taking all the overtime I can get at the moment...

    Anything else we should definitely do when we're out there?

    Hi Ralph! Welcome to the site. You pretty much nailed it with your itinerary. Theres a lot more to do out there but I dont get past the things you listed

      Welcome mate

      Do a tour of the Grand Canyon
      Wander the strip generally to see all the opulently built casinos
      Get a burger from one of the many good burger places
      EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

            What dates in August you heading out? Im in vegas with 6 mates from the 24th Aug for a week (we are also coming over from England)! We are staying at Hard rock.

              We're there 25th - 28th mate then doing LA after that
