    What's your budget?
    What's your music preference?
    What cuisine do you like?

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

We don't really have a budget ( obviously don't want to go too crazy every night!) we love sushi, salads, and Thai (were not red meat eaters!) and any music is good! Love to dance!

Do you want Top 40/hip hop or electronic music (dance, trance, etc) ?

As a start, buy some booze / waters / pedialyte / vitamins / advil for your room. There's a Walgreens at 3025 S Las Vegas Blvd.

I've been pulling together a document as a surprise for these forums with places that have been suggested in various threads. Might as well give you an advanced viewing:

        Buffets
        Wicked Spoon @ Cosmo
        Wynn
        Bellagio
        Rio
        Planet Hollywood
        M (off strip)

        Highly recommended reasonably priced places
Hidden Pizza @ Cosmo (third floor, straight across from the escalator; look for an inconspicuous hallway to the right of Blue Ribbon Sushi)
        Bouchon @ Venetian (breakfast)
Hash House A Go Go @ The Quad
Mon Ami Gabi @ Paris (try and get a patio table)
Pink’s Hot Dogs @ Planet Hollywood
Earl of Sandwich @ Planet Hollywood

        Other reasonably priced eats
        Grand Lux Café @ Palazzo/Venetian
        Taqueria Canonita @ Venetian
The Taco Bar @ Ballys ($2 for tacos, tequila shots, margaritas, tap beer)
Le Café Ile St Louis @ Paris
Sugar Factory American Brasserie @ Paris
        Planet Dailies @ Planet Hollywood

        Off strip
Maggiano's @ FSM (across from Wynn; good strip views and well-priced).
Peppermill (for breakfast; 1 block from Wynncore)
Lotus of Siam (Great thai food; in a ghetto strip mall off strip @ 953 E Sahara Ave)
        Firefly (tapas; 3900 Paradise Rd)
Tacos El Gordo (3049 S Las Vegas Blvd - a block from Wynncore; $2 tacos – try spicy pork (adobada) & steak (asada) / carne asada fries)

        Burger bars
        Highly recommended
        Holstein’s @ Cosmo (alcoholic shakes)
Burger Bar @ Mandalay Bay (alcoholic shakes)
BLT Burger @ Mirage (get a spot at Rhumbar and send someone for food across the hall at BLT)
Stripburger @ FSM (try old school griddled burger and atomic cheese fries; tend to have restaurant.com coupons)
In-N-Out (4888 South Dean Martin Drive; just off the strip on Tropicana)

        Others
The Henry @ Cosmopolitan (try The Henry Burger w/ white truffled tater tots from)
The Barrymore @ Royal Resort Hotel
        American Burger Works @ Excalibur
Johnny Rockets @ Flamingo (more diner style burgers)
        Marquee day club
Bradley Ogden (not a burger place, but have a great burger)
        Le Burger Brassiere @ Paris
        Burgers in Paradise
        KGB
Fatburger (across street from Monte Carlo)

        Dessert
Aureole @ Mandalay Bay (chocolate peanut butter souffle with a toasted marshmallow lollipop and peanut brittle; huckleberry lemon tart with sour cream ice cream; devil’s food cake with toasted meringue raspberries)
        Jean Philippe Patisserie @ Bellagio
        Payard Pâtisserie & Bistro @ Caesar’s (George V)
