Long time lurker first time poster here.
I ran into this forum after searching for club dress codes. I haven't been to Vegas since 03 and wanted to freshen up on the nightlife scene before going. I have received some great tips and the forums have been a great wealth of information. I have been to Vegas several times before for work.
Trying to balance the night life with work life is really difficult in Vegas unless you add some time to the schedule for just partying. I remember my first trip was for an Expo. The first night I ended up sharing B/S and VIP entrance to the Foundation Room through some people I met earlier. Ended up passed out with a lady "friend" in a Cabana in the Mandalay Bay Beach during the wee hours of the morning. Yes the gates were locked (don't ask). Luckily we woke up before the place opened for business. I was surprised the security didn't come after us because there are cameras everywhere. We are probably on the internet somewhere! LOL! What a night! I crawled to my first meeting the next day. The other people in the room took one look at me and said "First time in Vegas?" LOL!! They knew I was swallowed up by the nightlife and spat out. After that I learned to pace myself a little bit and to also tack on a day or two to the trip.
So I will be there April 7th-12th again for work but I have some flexibility at night. I will post in the "meetup" forum when the time gets closer.
