Hey guys so I have been doing some reading on here and I am way confused now. I have a table setup for this Friday at Tryst. Getting a bottle of Goose and Champagne for $500. I went through my buddies host whom he has gone through many times. My buddy told me when I get there to slip the host $50 bucks? Seems like that is very low compared to most the stuff I have read. Also we are suppose to tip security and the busser?

$50 isn't a bad tip...it's fine...less than I would do but you're not going to offend anyone with a $50 tip. Don't sweat it.
Your busser/runner works his ass off...tip him at least $20 at the beginning of the night. Tipping security is totally up to you.
If you want them to bring you girls or clear the path for you to the bathroom or look the other way when you're actin' a fool...then tip them. $40 when you are introduced to them will go a long way.Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I wouldn't tip security unless you have a table on the dance floor but definitely the busser bc they work they butts off at the table and if you tip good they might bring you party favors(nothing illegal) or snacks...LVH June '08
