Hi,

I'm Jim from Northampton in England, myself and 5 mates are coming over to Las Vegas for NYE. But that isn't the only part......It's my best mates big 40 on NYE night! I know it's early but I was hoping to start planning the big night pretty soon. If you could give me a heads up on where to go and more importantly where not to go, that would be great. We've all agreed that this will be the last big one for us so it needs to go with a bang!
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

We're old skool ravers mate so anything goes as long as I can cut some shapes on the dancefloor
Got a big thing for Annie Mac (phwoooer) or Erick Morrillo at the mo. i Have had a look at a few clubs already but none seem to have any line up out yet? Also as it's my mate's 40th we're looking to do bottle service on NYE night, does this mean I'll have to sell the wife and kids to pay for it???

NYE lineups will probably start posting in about a month or so. Wouldnt be surprised if Morrillo was at Tao or Marquee. Pretty sure they've booked him on big weekends before. Your best bet for EDM will be Marquee, Tao, XS, and Surrender. Main room tables will probably start at around $3000 and go up.

Would it be best to book the tables now? or do we wait till closer to the time? Also would that $3k inc tips & Taxes?
Also is there any bars/lounges you suggest that we could go to before the club to "warm up"?
I'm hoping to come over with a $4k (the other guys may have more or less then that) budget for the long weekend, the hotel has been booked (MGM Signature) and we have already sorted stretched limo transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Could you help with a possible itinerary or suggest things we could do during the day...

You will want to wait to book tables. 1 week in advance is fine. The 3k is just a minimum spend and doest include tax or tips. What days of the week will you be there?

Thanks for the reply, we are due to get into Vegas on the 12/27 and fly out the afternoon of the 1/1.
I've made the guys aware of your advise on booking a table a week in advance we were wondering if this is a bit short notice as we wouldn't want to miss out as all the tables had gone.
Also what time are the clubs open to on NYE?

You can certainly book earlier if you like. Just make sure you confirm your reservation the week of.
most clubs are open until 4am or longer on normal nights. So you'll have plenty of time to party! If you want to keep partying you can just head over to Drais which goes until like noon.
