Better late than never

So I've been stumbling around here for the past 7-8 months or so, therefore I suppose this is as good a time to say hello as any.

I'm a 29 year old from a part of Canada that most people don't care about. I had planned my first Vegas trip about 8 years ago with a good friend of mine while we were in college, but unfortunately, that fell through as we were broke ass college students.

This past August, I finally made my first trip to Sin City with my wife and two other couples that live on the opposite side of the country from us. We had a chance to sample much of what the city has to offer then made our way back to our boring middle class lives.

Around Christmas time, one of the couples that we previously went with announced that they were going to have a baby. Since we were unable to have a proper Man Shower to celebrate the occasion, we decided to plan a trip to Vegas (sans women) to celebrate the occasion and kill a few brain cells in the process, which explains my increased posting as of late.

Now, character wise, I'm a little like Stu from the Hangover. I tend to keep things low key at home for most part, but inside of me, there's a party animal that I left behind in college that needs to come out now and then (I was once told that I put the "fun" back into "funnel"). I feed this beast once every 6 months or so when the crew decides to either go on vacation or go nuts on the town (again, sans women).

Anywho, turns out Im missing the invasion, but I hope to have a change to bump into a few of you in late June, early May.

haha- Vegas? - I'm originally from Alaska, so I know all about living in a place no one cares about. That totally made me lolz! Hope we can meet up for some nights out on a future trip!
