not to sidetrack, but how likely is it to join other peoples tables when rolling solo? i'm always open to contributing my share for BS, but assume a lot of times it would be quite difficult to find a host that can accommodate a solo traveler.

I think the best way is link through this forum with travellers and hosts.

Hosts know where the parties are at, and if you be-friend them most are able to help out especially from the forums...

On the sidetrack note, it is pretty easy if you use this forum. I've done it 8 times when I've been there solo for work. I always just post an ad on this forum saying the days I will be there and ask if there is anyone else that wants to share. I usually get replies. I then contact the hosts to get quotes once I know the budget range and head count. I alway ask if they will be a little flexible with the numbers because sometimes people don't show up and you don't want to get stick with $3000 table to split between a few people. I've had many great times doing this. Only once did it turn out poorly but that was because I was trying to be accommodating when the group ballooned from 5 to 18ish a couple of hours before the club. That was a nightmare but it still had an okay time, I guess. Wouldn't repeat it though. Keep the group under 8 if you don't know the people is my advice.
