Ok, so I am headed to Vegas again in September (yay! Wish it were August so I could try NOT to be too hungover/busy for pool parties for once, but maybe next year). So far, it's me and five other girls. From my previous trip (see the TR), I have the Married Lady and the Cowgirl. And then there are two random friends of the Married Lady who I have never met, and one friend of the Cowgirl who I met for about five minutes one time in Denver. It all started because I want to go see Michael Jackson: One again now that it's open (and before I move out of the country), and people have started attaching themselves to the trip because the Bachelorette/Birthday trip was so great.
I love love LOVE meeting new people, however....
They don't want to go out.
To be more specific, they "aren't really club people" and want to do "maybe like a lounge one night, the show another night, and maybe a club if we end up staying through Thursday night."
Y'all.
I like lounges, but probably not enough to sit at one all night...and I don't feel like this crowd would even want to be out that late. The show lets out at 9:30. That should absolutely NOT be the end of any sane person's evening in Las Vegas. And MAYBE a club IF they stay through Thursday? The Cowgirl and I are the only ones who had to put in for real time off- the rest of them have nowhere to be, and wanted to go midweek to save on hotel prices (effing dancers).
All of that said, I know I'm planning waaay ahead, as usual. But if ANYbody is going to be around that week- please oh please let me know! I'm gonna need some buddies! I could always go out alone, but would rather not if I can avoid it. If I can bust my one friend out of jail, she would be perfect for this trip, but otherwise I feel like I am being set up to have a Granny Trip. Lol I will post more frantically as it gets closer. :-)
