JULY 18-21st > 7 Guys coming in for Bachelor Party

Got a group of 7-8 guys coming in from around the country for a Bachelor party that weekend. Should be a lively group in mid 20's to early/mid 30s.

5 of us arriving before noon thursday and are staying at Palms Place 2BR Suite (hoping for upgrade). Probably going to head over to Liquid after we get checked in to hang out. Likely doing GA but considering a Daybed.

Thursday Night dinner at STK and bar hopping in Cosmo and elsewhere.

Friday Day : Booking Cabana at Ditch Fridays
Friday Night: Bottles at Spearmint Rhino earlier in the evening and going out somewhere later.

Saturday Day: Booking Hangover Heaven in the AM then Deciding between Wet and Daylight... leaning toward Daylight. Likely going GA.
Saturday Night: Open at this point....

Sunday Flying out around 1:30pm.

Going the week before you and even though Hangover Heaven is a good idea, all of the products they use can be bought over the counter which would save you and assuming your group some money. We have 4 ER nurses going in our group and 1 did a 3 month contract in Vegas during the summer months in 2011.

Electrolytes is Gatorade, coconut water or Pedialyte (best one personally). Potassium is eating bananas every day and you can buy the vitamin packs or buy the small bottles of vitamins and make up your own packages for each day for you and your group. If you guys are going to pre game everyday Vons supermarket delivers and the first delivery is free. You can register online at their website. They have liquor, alcohol and all of the things needed to help re the hangover.

Just some suggestions and there are a few links on here if you search hangover heaven where people have other suggestions before you go out and spend $99+ for 1 visit.

+1 on the Pedialyte

THAT is a hangover heaven. I drink a few bottles of that a day while in Vegas.

Actually the most important part, the IV bags, aren't available over the counter. Neither is the prescription anti nausea medication (Ondansetron) they can provide. While one of the guys in our group is a Administrator of a pair of clinics (we can get bags easy) I just don't trust any of my drunk buddies to administer the bags properly.

That said, I'm not unfamiliar with pedialyte.. been a fan for years. Here's my "standard" regimen:

• Work in a bottle of water every hour or two throughout the day and evening
• Kill s bottle of pedialyte and a quality multivitamin before you go to bed
• Have a 1L bottle of water bedside for when you wake up (in middle of night or in AM).
• Immediately upon waking, try to get as much water down the hatch as you can.
• Excedrin is a good thing as well as some Pepto (anti Nausea).

THAT SAID: Sometimes even pedialyte and some vitamins isn't enough... honestly $99 a pop isn't a whole lot of money for the experience... especially after a major bender.

That's true, it doesnt work every time... when it doesn't, start taking shots. The shampoo effect will kick right in.

As for the "experience" of hangover heaven, I am intrigued by that. I think that would be worth it at least onetime. To put it in perspective, you spend $500 on a bottle of booze you can buy for $30 at the store but I dont think you can make your own (at least wouldnt recommend it) IV hangover cure.

I envy your group. It is like pulling teeth to get my group(going the same time as you btw) to do 1 night of BS and it was extremely hard to convince them only way to do so was by doing the B1G1 deal through Joey at 1OAK. We are also going as a group of 8 around the same age for a bachelor party and most of us make between 50k-110k. I got some super cheap friends that cant ever splurge a little lol. I also wanted to do dinner at STK and everyone except me and 1 other guy said no...

I feel ya man. We had a couple guys who aren't too excited about it but I'm glad we're gonna get to do a little something. We'll likely end up doing GA for everything but the cabana at ditch because the guys don't wanna blow too much cash.

Joey was willing to do B1G1 for that size group? What night? if ya don't mind me asking curious as to what deal you lined up.

Maybe we'll run into you guys at some point out there! If so I've got first round!

Update: Looks like we're looking at a Party Cabana at Wet Republic on Friday now after seeing crap music lineup for Ditch and Kaz letting us know the crowd has been less than desirable at Ditch thus far this season.

I'll be in Vegas on July 18-21 (staying at Palms) was considering Ditch also, but that music
"headliner" looked...a bit...questionable. Might be heading to WET or DAYLIGHT that day.
