  • Labor Day Weekend (29 Aug - 3 Sep) [4 guys]

    When?
Wednesday 29 August to Tuesday 3 September.

We're staying at the Encore Tower Suites.

    Itinerary

Our schedule is getting close to final. Here is what we are planning:

    Wednesday - Spearmint Rhino
Thursday - Hakkasan (presale or guestlist) [Aoki]
Friday day - Wet Republic (Dance Deck table) [Tommy Trash / Rehab]
Friday night - Light (Tier 1 table) [Ingrosso]
Saturday day - Daylight (presale) [Zedd]
Saturday night - XS (900s table) [Angello] [We would be keen to combine forces with another group to get a better table. Let me know if interested.]
Sunday day - Encore Beach Club (water couch) [Afrojack]
Sunday night - XS (table TBC) [Guetta]
Monday day - playing by ear. [Let me know if you would be interested for Dimitri Vegas/Like Mike @ Daylight or Guetta @ EBC.]
Monday night - playing by ear. [Let me know if you would be interested in Tiesto @ Hakkasan or Afrojack/Guetta @ XS.]

    How many?
Our numbers will vary at each event, but we will have a maximum of 6 (including 1 non-drinker).

    Interested?
Feel free to post here or send me a PM (and we can exchange #'s / email).

Even if you aren't keen on BS, let me know if you'll be around -- would be great to meet up and say hi to a few fellow JC'ers. (Or hit up the Rhino together!)

    Thanks

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Hey man! I saw this post and sent it to my buddy and he's like hit him up because it seems they like the same music we do and plan ahead like we do! We book every year for Labor Day weekend early in March. Gives us time to prepare and get ready not just physically but mentally! LOL!

Last year we saw Avicii (twice - LOL), Kaskade, Morgan Page, dada Life, and Benny Benassi. We did the wristband passes to marquee for the whole weekend which was great as we always had easy access in and out during day and night on a long weekend. We will do the same this year. Anyways, we ended up staying at marquee and cosmo most of the time because we liked dj's, easy access back to our suite, and good dj lineups last year. Besides heading over to surrender and Encore on Wed & Thursday night we were there the whole time. This year we would like to bounce around a little more.

    When?
We are heading down Sunday Aug. 25th (getting in at 8:30am) and leaving Tuesday, August 3rd late at night so we basically will be there for 10 full days and 9 nights!

We will be staying Sunday & Monday at MGM 1 bedroom suite, Tuesday-Friday at Mandalay Bay X3 suite and then Friday-Tuesday at Cosmopolitan wraparound suite. Being there so long this year we decided to switch it up and hit up wt republic, daylight, eclipse, light and hakkasan while being on that end of the strip for the 1st 5 days, and hit up Marquee, Encore, XS while being at the cosmo from Friday-Tuesday.

    Which clubs / pools?
We are also EDM fans. Without a schedule being out its tough to gameplan but here is what we are thinking without dj lineups being out...

    DAY Night
Sunday- Wet Republic during day // XS or Eclipse at night
Monday- Bare during day // Marquee or XS at night
Tues- Mandalay bay relaxing during day // and at night 1Oak or Lavo
Wed - DayLight during day // followed by Light (eclipse) or Surrender at night
Thurs - Wet or Daylight during day // Encore, Hakkasan, or Light at night
Fri-Mon - Daylight, MDC, EBC during day // Light, Marquee, XS, Hakkasan at night

Pool BS - depends on lineups but we would like bottle service (cabana) at Kaskade at cosmo on Sunday day.I know you arent really that keen on seeing Kaskade though... (1 day)
Nightclub BS Wed or Thursday, and either Friday or Saturday night (2 nights)

An idea of who we'd be happy to see in RED: Axwell, Ingrosso, Alesso, Nicky Romero, Thomas Gold, Eric Prydz, Avicii, Steve Angello, Afrojack, Diplo, Morgan Page,Zedd,Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, Chuckie, SvD (and not really Tiesto, deadmau5, Kaskade, AvB, A&B, Dash Berlin or Guetta).

    How many?
We have a group flying in on different days. We will have 3 guys and 4 girls the duration of the trip and 2 more guys and 1 more girl coming in Friday-Monday. 9 total and that might grow to be more by the time of the trip as a few other groups of gf of mine are seriously considering still...

    Budget?
We would be willing to split maybe a day or 2 with a cabana and at least 1 or 2 nights... $3500-4500 min + ~500 host tip. I think $5000.00 sounds about right out the door for a night and $3-4k during a day or 2. We could match your $2500.00.

I do have a few friends (hosts) who can hook us up at encore, wet, and hakkassan. I'd use Noah for Light and daylight, and I dont have anyone at marquee, any suggestions?

Anyways, I don't think I have enough posts to DM you (i am a constant visitor to the site though, just don't post much) so feel free to DM me with your contact info and we can talk, email, or text some more details as we get closer. Last year was crazy insane! Best trip I've ever had there and been maybe 10-12 times... Can't wait for the debauchery that is vegas to begin on a crazy LDW! Can't come soon enough!

    LMK...

      Thanks for the reply Vannwolfhawk.

Agreed it's way too early to lock-in a schedule until DJ lineups are released, but never too early to get other parts sorted. Looks like we want to check out the same clubs, so closer to the date we should compare our plans and see what matches up. We can then get some pricing info from hosts and go from there. Ultimately we are pretty easygoing, so we might even split a cabana at Kaskade with you.

I'll send you a private message now with my info.

Vegas is always pretty busy to be honest... the only thing that might happen is the DJs booked for the week before/after LDW are a little under strength because they want to load all the talent into LDW

December (except NYE) SUCKS! compared to summer time...

We'll be going hard at daylight, eclipse, light that day and night I assume! Depends on dj lineups. Last year we did surrender with Morgan Page on Wednesday night and it was a great night! Id assume we will be at 1 of those places that night...

Agreed - depending on DJ, we will either do Surrender or Eclipse @ Daylight [night pool party].

We won't be hitting a pool earlier in the day, as we will be flying into LA then driving into LV.

Yep, just saw it and responded there.

Smart plan btw on basing yourself at different parts of the strip and partying locally. I have a spare room at Aria for the Wed/Thurs so that if we want to go down that end of the strip (Light, Daylight, WR, Hakkasan, Liquid, Haze), we can get ready / pregame / crash there instead of our Encore room.

Will be in Vegas from Wed August 28th to Wed September 4th with my wife - staying at Encore for the duration.

Already have presales for Guetta at EBC on the Monday but I'm pretty keen to see Calvin Harris at WR (assuming he'll be there at some stage over the weekend). From what I read WR seems to be more of a clusterfuck without having a home base but a daybed for 2 is a bit of a stretch so would like to split with someone who needs some help to hit their min!

Will start my own thread as events are announced but just registering my interest in case you guys would be headed that way.

CH @ Wet Republic is definitely on our radar (and highly probable). I just hope it doesn't turn out to be Axwell at Daylight v CH at WR v Steve Angello @ EBC on Saturday: that would be tough...
